This turned out to be a pretty good way to get around London and see some sites when we first arrived. For the most part, the buses ran on time and weren't packed with people. The drivers were nice and answered our questions.
The audio headphones worked quite well and even with the occasional rain shower, we mostly sat up top and enjoyed the view. We did move to the up top covered part of the bus as soon as possible, though.
They have different lines that go to different parts of London so that was a little confusing at first.
There's lots of traffic, but overall, we had a good time while on the bus.
We also did the river cruise as part of the Big Bus package, and it was fun and educational, even though it was a little cold out on the water that day.

Natasha did an amazing job. She knew the tricks to get us the best pictures. She also had fun stories about the monarchy. Would highly recommend.

Alan was an excellent guide. Very informative and good fun. Tour itself was brilliant. We both really enjoyed it. Now watching “From Hell” on prime!

We had a great time. Our guide Ben had interesting and funny facts about London which made the trip even more enjoyable. London even gave us some sunshine. Compared to many other attractions offered to tourists, the cruise was really affordable.

This place is definitely a tourist trap but how do you go to London and not ride the eye. We bought tickets there, day of, and they were $42 GBP for each adult. You can purchase online in advance for cheaper but we were unsure when we’d make it there. Ride takes about 30 minutes and you are with other groups unless yours is a big one. Was it worth the cost? At the top you get a birds eye view of all of London which was amazing. There’s some other free high rises you can visit but the London Eye is just iconic. Just suck it up and do it!

Delick made this tour amazing. She shared her passion and helped us find the best spots to get some amazing views and photos.

We managed to see the changing of the guards from both ends. The tour is a long walk so be prepared for this especially during summer when it is also crowded. It is going to be tiring and there are not many opportunities to sit down. You will be given headsets to listen to your guide and also so that you don’t lose your group.

What was most amazing was the inside of Buckingham Palace. Wow. Be prepared to be blown away by the extravagance, rich art history and gold gilding. To think that this is someone’s residence!!! This will be without your guide so you can spend how long you want till it closes. By the way you can’t take any photos inside.

There is cafe at the end of the tour so you can refresh yourself, souvenir shop (which we found expensive) or you can exit.

    Enjoy this amazing tour.

Fun, amazing value cruise. Staff extremely friendly, accessible and knowledgeable. Very lucky with the weather. Perfect for the trip. A beautiful experience at a lovely place to be able to view and take pictures of landmarks. Stopping off for a stroll at a vantage point was icing on the cake. Definitely recommend.

Nice but a bit overpriced. The view is amazing though and my whole family loved it. Will not be back but good to go once for the London experience.

What a wonderful day! This was our first experience on a high speed train and it was quite comfortable and a vey smooth ride. Anna was our tour guide and she was fabulous. She has a vast knowledge of Paris and presented it on the bus tour in a vey engaging and humorous way. The boat ride down the Seine was very enjoyable, but the highlight of the trip was the Eiffel Tower. We added the lunch option and are so glad we did. The food was excellent and greatly exceeded our expectations. Due to time constraints the visit to the Lourve was simply a view of the pyramids in the courtyard, but we were not disappointed. The Mona Lisa will have to wait for a future visit.
On guided tours, the tour guide is the truly deciding factor in the success of the tour. Anna could not have been better. After our initial introduction she recognized each of us by name and interacted with us individually throughout the tour. She is the best.
Tell her team Rob says thanks so much for a wonderful day!

Great experience on London Eye, saw all the sights and being on the 11am flight meant very little queuing. Got there at 10:30 and was more or less straight on. Takes 45min max. Cruise was great - the person telling us about the sights was George and he was great very funny. Just wish he’d been a bit louder as the school trip that was with us were very loud! (Especially the teachers talking to each other)

John did a great job explaining key sites and history of St. Paul's church changing of guard and Tower of London. Seeing the Crown Jewels was a special high light in a very busy day. Optional Harrods tea was however was nothing special and very underwhelming and nothing special- a glass of Prosecco and a tea pot set on the table not even poured by the server with a biscuit and a scone. I did not fault premium tours tour operator as they did great for this but would not recommend this add on at Harrods

An iconic building and perhaps one of the most famous landmarks in the capital, this had been on my list to do for ages, but as the Whispering Gallery had been closed for some years I kept putting it off. Fortunately that has now reopened. We booked online and there was no queue at all on entry, although that would I suppose depend on when you visit. This was a mid-week in February. The security heck was quick and the staff friendly. We found that there were two complimentary tours available, one of the ground floor and another of the basement or crypt. We did both and these were well worthwhile with knowledgeable and friendly guides. There were a lot of things that we discovered that we would not otherwise have done.

We also went up to the three galleries, the Whispering gallery on the inside and two external ones. You do need to be reasonably fit, it’s over 500 steps to the top although you could just do the Whispering gallery which is about half that. It’s sop called because the unusual acoustics apparently mean that you can hear someone whispering on the opposite side, although we didn’t really notice this. Perhaps we were stood in the wrong place. Nonetheless, it’s very impressive and there are good views if you persevere to the external balconies.

Overall, very interesting and well worth doing.
