Visiting Harrods for the first time exceeded my expectations, it was very spacious inside, including many things to admire, including the interior, certain brands, and food options. However, it was really busy and hard to get around due to the Christmas season approaching and people wanting to buy presents rather than experiencing them for the first time. Also, most things were quite expensive.

Gorgeous store with beautiful products and excellent service. I particularly loved the Christmas decorations. My only criticism was that it was extremely busy with long queues for the (very small) lifts.

IT IS 2024 THANKSGIVING TODAY A NATIONAL HOLIDAY FROM USA and being residents of England we chose to have our meal @Wagamama Wimbledon.... a far cry from the usual food served up to celebrate this day. We were gifted with an amazing cordial staff member SAYESHE and besides the wonderful food we ordered-- we enjoyed likewise her conversation and attention to our needs. Much appreciated. Wagamama is so lucky to have such a bright and amiable person representing their brand..We think Sayeshe will go from strength to strength pursuing her career goals..and she will be another reason that we will come back regularly to this restaurant. Such an enjoyable experience!

Christmas shop was great loved the lay out. Tasters were great particularly the lady on walkers shortbread and the Selfridge tea. The Selfridge tea lady was really friendly and helpful and I bought the tea because of her! Shop was very crowded but I guess that is inevitable.

"Harvey Nicks" was first brought to my attention from the 90's TV show Absolutely Fabulous. It is quite a fancy store in the exclusive area of London - Knightsbridge and it is just up the road from Harrods.

The store sells clothes from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Stella McCartney. There are a number of floors which are accessible by lifts and escalators. On the top floor there is a bar and place to eat

The store was clean and well presented.

Next Clothing Store is located in a nice building in Oxford Street. It was formerly Oxford Street’s Plaza shopping centre.
There is a huge variety of clothes and shoes for all ages.

I can confirm, as so many others are saying, John Lewis customer services are now defunct. I ordered a dress for new year, it came after new year, took 10 days to travel the last 12 miles from depot. I went online to arrange return and refund, going round and round in circles, despite being computer literate (have written websites in the past). I live in Scottish highlands and the return section drop down list of options not working at all. Contacted customer services, seemed to be an African accent, fine, but no help at all, just told me to take back to store, 5hrs away, so 10hr return journey and probably stay overnight for a ÂŁ85.00 dress? She was increasingly irritated, I found it difficult to understand her accent, as she probably did mine, did not know where Scotland was, let alone the highlands. Said no Evri location to take back to locally, and could not return by royal mail, but would email me a return label and arrange an Evri pick up, no one came and no one has come 5 days later. Escalated my query, and had 3 strange emails in response, saying the dress was on the way, was arriving today and had arrived, all by royal mail - when arrived over a week ago by Evri. Another email just arrived saying my query has been dealt with, as they sent me Evri return label - despite no collection in area, and no place to take it for return. Totally confused by all this, either generated by AI or confused people in South Africa, where John Lewis have outsourced their customer services too, closing the section in Plymouth, UK apparently. Will not order online from JL again, only buy from Glasgow or Edinburgh store when go for weekend a couple of times a year and be very certain I want to keep the item! So disappointed, JL used to be a top company for personal service.

Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing chain. They have two stores in Oxford Street and in these stores they sell clothes for men, women and children.

Their clothes have very bold colours and are quite eye catching however things in there are quite expensive.

If you are a person on a limited budget you may decided to visit somewhere a little less pricey.

This is a department store that plays with convention. There aren't many such stores I know of where one is greeted by bedding and the odd bbq on the entrance floor. And having menswear adjacent to perfumes and makeup. Most intriguing.

I spent time in the menswear area. Some nice stuff but not a massive range from which to choose.

My wife is an avid shopper but finished womenswear in record time.

    An interesting place to visit.

Shaha is the man! I went on my lunch break to the Regent St store, an emergency mission for plain white shirts. As busy as the place was, I seemed to have his full attention!

I was pleasantly surprised as you usually get minimal effort from high street stores nowadays!

He even explained the different styles and materials whilst making note of my specific requirements, offering a truly bespoke service.

If you have tome, this is a must. Amazing range of vintage clothing and memorabilia to suit all tastes. Staff were not pushy, just helpful, and the relaxed vibe was conducive to spending a while browsing. Will visit again next time.

I booked a watch experiance for an Anniversary gift for my husband.
We had a weekend, evening appointment with Suman but Both staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.
Even though the experiance was for an hour, we weren't rushed and were able to experiment with lots of different combos.
There isn't a large selection of womens watch faces, this might be worth noting if you are purchasing as a gift but We left with some really nice watches (male amd female) and would definitely recommend this experiance.

What a fabulous company. On arriving in London with a lot of laundry required, the service was impeccable. Days later before our next adventures we returned to do a little self serve laundry ~ Lovely staff and very accomodating~ Thank you
