We arrived at the address and to my amazement what seemed to be somebody’s front door.

Behind this door was one of the best experiences I’ve had in London.

    The staff were attentive.

The New Zealand Sauvignon was full bodied.

But most importantly the jazz was effervescent, soothing and energising.

    Drinks ranged from around ÂŁ6-ÂŁ15.

3 types of ticket (we had the music ticket) which meant we were right next to the musicians.

This really was an evening that took me back in time.

Great piano performance. Music is a bit too loud but great drinks and atmosphere! A place to be on Friday night in London!

Always a terrific show tunes singalong night. The bar has been renamed from Louche to Greek Street Live (5 Greek Street) and the upstairs bar singalong is now called The Room Where It Happens (not Overtures). Odd to rename, but still great fun with great pianists. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

I had heard a lot about the piano bar years ago and decided to try it out on a visit to London. The piano player was very talented. The service was also very good. But the venue was completely empty when we arrived at 8.30 . It was over half an hour before anyone else joined. We had two drinks each and had to leave because it was so expensive (ÂŁ55 for 4 drinks) and because the atmosphere was so dead. The piano player did his utmost to keep spirits up & we enjoyed the music but unfortunately I will not be going back and unlikely to recommend it.
