- Mateusz Z2 contributionsBeen there few times and never been disappointed. Great drag show everyday make this place uniqe at the London gay scene. The bar staff is friendly and chatty. Always happy to help and make your visit spectacular. - LOLKingston5 contributionsMy husband and I recently hired the upstairs bar at the Kings Arms for a joint birthday drinks bash. We wanted something simple, hassle free and gay / straight friendly, the Kings Arms being the perfect venue. We paid a minimum deposit bar take to secure a member of staff for the upstairs dedicated bar, which worked brilliantly, providing the food & decs ourselves. Gareth (Deputy Manager) that we dealt with most was just superb - helpful from the moment we made our initial enquiry to the end of the event, no query was too much trouble. The Kings Arms knows the meaning of the word "community", one of the main reasons we love the pub - and this personal approach very much extended itself to the hosting of our party; including staff asking after a friend who had been feeling unwell at one point. It's a place where I feel comfortable going on my own as I find if easier to chat to people than in trendy bars. A pub is a pub and I like it. Fast forward a few months and suddenly he is not welcome.
He is 💯 happier with me than he would be at home alone.
Very frustrating when venues project reason like “it’s too loud for dogs” - this is subjective and down to the owner to decide.

We were a mixed bunch with different ages and identities but we all felt welcomed. - guth abel r1 contributionAs a lesbian that comes to heaven often to feel safe around many likeminded people, the behaviour and power tripping from your security is unlike anything i’ve ever seen before. throughout the years i’ve been partying all across london as a Sober person. I have not had a drink of alcohol for about 5 years and dont intend to do so anywwhere in the near future. however on 3 separate occasions i have been accused of being 'too drunk' to either enter the venue or to stay inside.
i find this incredibly insulting and rude to let someone inside who has planned their entire birthday trip around having a great and dry time in heaven and to be completely ruined by bouncers trying to convince people that they’re ‘too drunk’. i’ve read your reviews and this pattern is not only consistent towards me but also others. the people who have been accused of being too drunk when actually sober have been disproportionately people of colour which is absolutely mind boggling to me. sort this out ! you should not be known to have the worst behaved security and dehumanising security guards in the whole of london. this is ridiculous and needs to be sorted out.Written 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The owner introduced himself and was very welcoming and had a great deal on drinks. The music was good, drinks good, great space and a brilliant dance floor. - Iudita vLondon, UK8 contributionsWe firs have been to the Exilio in last summer where we had best Latino party ever, the music was just excellent, service and staff absolutely friendly. That’s why decided that we will become regulars when we like to have Latino dance. We really recommend. Even if is a LGBT 🏳️🌈 club everyone is welcome here who like to dance 💃 and have fun.
