Had a fantastic time during my snowboarding lesson, taught by Mark and Rob. Lots of fun and they were very helpful when teaching our group. Would Highly recommend the snowboarding lessons with them.

We booked Dinos after Dark on Halloween. It was excellent, so well organised.
Three hour slot is perfect to experience everything. It was scary a bit in way dinosaurs would be scary but not gory, Halloween-tacky, creepy. Perfect for my seven year old.

We did the dinosaur trail first - you think you’ve seen it all before but you still end up being impressed by it. Lots of things to be surprised by, great lighting and sound, especially for night time.

Then we were jus on time for UV light puppet show. The seating area was damp because of the weather but we hardly noticed. Very clever show. (May be they should turn down the sound of their speaker a little bit though). It was Halloween themed but funny.

Lots of snack/hot drink options here under beautiful Christmassy lights. We didn’t buy any so not sure how good they are.

We went to the playground after which at dark is all the more exciting to discover for the little ones.

Next we went to the silent disco. Great DJ. Lovely ladies helping with the earphones, checking the volume before handing to children.

Then we went to face-painting, glitter tattoos area. Queues of about 5 families in each for us. Included in the price.

Finally there was the big slide to go on in a secluded area. And our time was up.

Definitely worth the ÂŁ15 we paid each.

This afternoon we had a fantastic tour of the old Hatfield palace. Only part of the original building remains but what is left is magnificent. Dermot, our guide made the tour a very enjoyable experience - his knowledge and enthusiasm were boundless.

As a tourist visiting Watford, I was delighted to stumble upon Cassiobury Park. Its vast green spaces, located so close to the city center, were truly breathtaking. The park offers a range of activities to keep visitors entertained. I particularly enjoyed the Colorscape event, where each room was filled with a different color and accompanied by music, creating an immersive experience. You have to remove your shoes and wear a cloak that changes color according to the room you're in. The model railway was another highlight, providing a delightful journey that was well worth the price. There are also outdoor gym facilities for those aged 13 and above, a playground for children under 14, and a paddling pool for those under 12. The two cafes within the park were a great place to relax and enjoy some refreshments. With easy access to parking and Watford Metropolitan Line station, as well as being close to Watford town center, Cassiobury Park is a must-visit for anyone in the area.I bought a railcard on trainpal and got a 20% discount when I entered the RC777E code! Hope to help those who come to the UK to play~

An incredible experience. I am friends with the owner, who is really nice. There are some great food stalls. You can also take some amazing photos. The reason I give it a 4 stars is only because the WC is just a trailer, and could be a bit better. However, it is a great trip to visit and you can even pick your own. There is also a playground for kids and an incredible shop and café. Overall a really good place.

The park is next to the museum. I wanted to see the Roman remains in the park, but signage was not helpful. I did spot a piece of Roman wall across a stretch of grass and walked to it over the grass, could not see a direct footpath. There is a small cafe, with seats inside and outside, which would be improved by updating

Stopped off here to eat a picnic. What a glorious garden! Beautiful plant combinations all around and wonderful mature rhododendrons and trees. Everywhere we looked were gorgeous flowers covered in happily buzzing bees. A hidden oasis near the city, a must visit for plant lovers.

We had 2 nights in the cabin which was by the adventure playground. Comfy bed and our own area with picnic table and fire pit. My daughter had a wonderful time on the farm and the walks. Staff were lovely. Especially the younger ones who were very polite and helpful.
2 criticisms, a lack of maps and signage. Shower was not easy to find as it didn’t appear on any map. Met another family who were trying to find the Winnie Pooh trail.
Also a lack of places to get food. The rustic rhubarb cafe was lovely but only serves hot food at the weekend. They told me they may have to give it up as their overheads are too high and the park are not supporting them very much. That aside I would recommend this place for a family outing and we will return.

Had a lovely time walking around with mom. The people working there are so friendly and helpful. The cafe/ gift shop is so cute! The outdoor walk is beautiful and easy to do. Definitely can’t wait to go again.

I visited Ivinghoe Beacon quite a few years ago and as I was passing I thought I would pay it another visit. It's part of the National Trust and there is a small car park nearby. I visited on a Saturday morning and there was a small van selling hot drinks for people who wanted them.

It's a very pleasant walk from the car park to the top and initially there is a chalk path to take you part of the way there but as you climb up the hill the laid out path ends and it becomes a more loose track.

It is a bit steep to get to the top so make sure you a prepared for a little trek. I would definitely recommend the climb though as once you get to the top the views are magnificent.

You can literally see for miles around!

One thing to look out for is the chalk lion which was created to promote Whipsnade Zoo.

On the day I visited it was a bit windy on the beacon so be prepared for gusts and don't put up your umbrella!

“Growing up in Stevenage, I’ve loved the town since day one—and that love’s still going strong. But let’s be real, if it weren’t for Fairlands Valley Lakes, I’d probably still be lost in the park instead of steering superyachts. Now, as a master in the yachting world, I can’t thank Fairlands enough for setting me on course. And let’s not forget my trusty compass—without it, I’d still be trying to navigate those beautiful grounds (because Waze just doesn’t cut it on water). Thank you, Fairlands, and thank you, Stevenage!”

We come here a few times a month. There are various walks and circuits to do depending on your energy and the weather. Once you are 10 mins from the main cafe area, things are quiet and you do feel alone with nature.

The cafe feels always busy - the food/drinks are great but be prepared for a wait and a steep price.

    Parking is free as well.

Interesting wet afternoon exploring the mill and having a go at making our own flour. Amazing its free entry, felt duty bound to spend some money in the cafe, even that was difficult with a very reasonable menu! Thankfully donations welcomed on the way out so could show my appreciation! Nice quiet (wet) walk rounded out a nice afternoon!

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the Lady of the Lee Valley, my daughter has mobility issues so we used the 'lift' which made access easy. Our cream tea was excellent with very generous portions. We were able to go out the front deck for a while and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
