Make no mistake - the entrance fee is expensive. The reason for this is the vast amount of conservation & restoration that the Trust is constantly having to undertake.

The amount of written explanation in the rooms and on the exhibits is minimal in most cases - meaning that you really do need to pay for the audio guide extra to the admission charge. The room guides are knowledgeable & helpful.

Unfortunately the day we were there, there were a *lot* of school parties which rather spoiled the visit as every time we stopped to look at something we were jostled by yet another group!

The building is absolutely astonishing, and the attention to detail in the restoration is remarkable. It's certainly one of a kind!

Whether you consider the cost of admission is worth it is a decision only you can make, but we are glad we went.

Love both sides of the lanes. Jewellery is amazing. I always go to camelots and they are brilliant and the service is amazing. After getting my rings cleaned we stopped for some drinks in nearby pubs. Then went to other lanes for a wonder around the shops. Love Brighton for the choices it offers.

Great place to visit, lots of independent shops selling all manner of things you won’t find elsewhere. Also lots of coffee shops, bars and eateries. Well worth a visit for a browse.

A trip to Brighton is not complete without a walk along the pier.

Despite the flashing lights, slot machines and candied treats, there is another side to the pier.

Listen hard enough and you will hear the sea's ancient cry. It tells of seasons past, sunken in depths unseen. It speaks in waves, ferocious and friendly. Carrying the jubilant cries of fairground voices into the night, until they become a distant siren. Forever left adrift in a melancholic voyage.

Great views of Brighton. Quite expensive for the experience as it doesn’t last very long. Expensive bar inside the pod.

Did a 20 mile hike to get here, the mountain itself is only about a mile but it is still a decent trek especially with the steepness. Once up there you get a grande view of all of Brighton and Worthing. The view is beautiful and the peaks of devils dyke look beautiful. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic or date, there’s also a pub both at the bottom of the hill and at the top so you have plenty of places to eat, we didn’t on our trek but it’s there for those who want it.

Beneath the cliffs along the Sussex seafront there are paths to take you alongside the beach.

Within Brighton there are different paths some on the same level as the beach and some are a bit higher.

The ones next to the seafront are well maintained however when I visited in January 2024 one of the paths higher up the cliff was closed.

You get some lovely views of the beach and the surrounding area including the piers and the marina.

Don was our tour guide and he did a fabulous job! We were impressed with his vast knowledge of the team’s history and details about the stadium. We were visiting from New York, so this was an absolute treat! We took great photos on the field as well as in the stadium itself. I 100% recommend this tour! Also, the team store is huge! You can get jersey’s printed with your name and number.

I had a chicken dansak and Bombay aloo. It was the best I’ve had and I have one quite regularly at various takeouts. The chicken was cooked really well and not dry and the sauce was a great lentil mix of sweet and sour spices. I would recommend this place and they were super friendly.

Our guide was excellent. He had researched a lot of the history Brighton Police and was good at answering qyuestions. Next time that you want something to do for about an hour and a half in Brighton, for a very reasonable cost, please book a tour.
