... as there are lots of steps to climb but you are rewarded with a glimpse into the life of a Lighthouse keeper and if you have a head for heights, it's well worth climbing to the top as the views are stunning.
I took my 4 year old granddaughter who loved to climb to the top I was so nervous watching her and climbing but when you got to the top what fantastic views , breathtaking scenery well worth the climb !

A very interesting house with the usual helpful volunteers in each room, and absolutely gorgeous woodland walk along the river estuary with views towards Plymouth.
... and puts special evens on at various times of the year, one to watch out for is the Christmas tree event before, during and after Christmas, a must see,, there is a good cafe on site and a national trusted shop.
