Montague Harbour Marine Provincial Park
#1 of 5 Nature & Parks in Galiano Island
Lots of wonderful waterfront nature, kids loved the beaches and ocean, we were alone in paradise on a beautiful spring afternoon, well worth the drive.
This was an amazing hike through the park! Fantastic views and a very clean, well maintained park.
Bluffs Park
#2 of 5 Nature & Parks in Galiano Island
The initial part of the trail takes you through some lush forest areas and then once you're on the main road again take the trail (which will be on your right) up to the top of Bluffs Park.
You can also drive well up into the park if mobility or hiking are an issue.
Bellhouse Provincial Park
#3 of 5 Nature & Parks in Galiano Island
Bellhouse Park is a easily accessed point of land that is great for watching marine traffic, a wide assortment of marine birds as well as a prime spot for watching a passing pod of Orcas.
Though the park is small, it's still fun to explore the sandstone along the water and small path around the bluff.
Bodega Ridge Provincial Park
#4 of 5 Nature & Parks in Galiano Island
Keep in mind, you can keep going, we went about another 1/2 km and realized we were now out of the Park and heading down towards Galiano Ecological Reserve, so we stopped and turned around.
Dionisio Point Provincial Park North Galiano
#5 of 5 Nature & Parks in Galiano Island
Although it is described as a marine park, there are trails that lead to the park that can be explored and you can enjoy the natural beauty of this area!
BC Parks designed it as a drive-in and boat-in park on the northern tip of Galiano Island, facing Valdes Island, next in the Southern Gulf Islands chain.
