What travellers are saying
- jsd26Cardiff, UK170 contributionsWe ascended from the grey weather at the bottom through the cloud to the sunshine at the top of the gondola in a comfortable ride. Once the cloud cleared the views over Howe Sound were impressive. The Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge was fun and pretty bouncy. There are plenty of trails at the top, well signposted with suitability both for those who like to hike and those who prefer a more leisurely walk. The gondola was closing early the day we were there and the lodge at the top was being set up for the gondola’s 10th Birthday celebrations, with the red carpet being rolled out for its investors.Written 31 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jsd26Cardiff, UK170 contributionsNice, easy walk from the parking lot in the Provincial Park to the falls. Information boards explain the type of fall and there’s an opportunity to go down onto the boulders downstream from the fall.Written 31 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Garibaldi is a PROVINCIAL PARK - NOT a STATE Park.
It is located in CANADA 🇨🇦 therefore it is a PROVINCIAL Park.

The use of ladders & chains in certain sections provides added support & excitement during the climb. Despite the demanding nature of the trail, the reward at the top is truly breathtaking. From the summit you will be treated to a stunning panoramic view of Howe Sound, creating a memorable experience. This 6km round trip presents 3 peaks waiting to be conquered, with wooden stairs aiding your journey along the way. Make sure to take a well deserved lunch break while soaking in the awe insiring surroundings.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - furryjen78Stanton Harcourt, UK83 contributionsThis was our first campground after collecting our rented RV in Vancouver, it’s an easy jump from Vancouver so ideal for first time RVers like us! The campsite that we booked had a power hookup which was ideal, and we were delighted with how spacious the sites were. Although there were other people around, the sites were very well spaced and it was quiet.
We were also pleasantly surprised with the shower block. It seems to have been recently renovated and was very clean and tidy with great hot water.
All in all, a great experience for first time RVers like us!Written 22 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I spent the day floating on a floatie and thanks to stairs leading right to the water/beach, I got out with no trouble. It's pretty cold water, but people do swim there and it's very popular with divers due to several wrecks. Paddleboards and kayaks are also popular. You can see seals & birds or if you dive, see lingcod, octopus, nudibranch, etc. Get there early as it is a very small parking lot and a popular place.Written 31 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Helen RCanmore, Canada194 contributionsWhile my husband has chosen this route a few times, as an alternate and nice change from driving Trans Canada back to Canmore from Victoria, I had never been on it before. We were stopping to visit friends who have a very successful potato farm in Pemberton. It could be a white knuckle drive in winter and all I could think of was "putting hair on one's chest!". In hubby's Audi A-4 6 speed, he enjoyed the drive and we only saw one 18-wheeler. Well worth the road trip, but few stops and NO gas stations on route.Written 27 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - platypus150Melbourne, Australia33,298 contributionsI came on the Skylynx bus headed for the railway museum. The staff in the adventure centre offered me a map and directions. - Stephie CyrSechelt, Canada405 contributionsWent in early December when eagles swarm to feed off the salmon. You could see a dozen in one tree alone.
Due to Covid-19, my rafting trip was cancelled, so I hiked up along the river bank just past Fergies cafe. Gorgeous scenic area with lots of moss, fishermen, eagles and vultures.
Beautiful afternoon just walking along the river. The cafe is a warm and pleasant follow up.Written 13 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrscayenneSudbury, Canada57 contributionsWe brought our grand children to the Polar Express. While the train ride was great, they really enjoyed the activities such as the cookie decorating and ornament decorating. The line up for photos withSanta and Mrs. Claus was quite long but the other activities were readily accessible. The kids enjoyed it very much and it made for a great morning of fun!Written 4 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
