- sheila270Toronto, Canada3,860 contributionsWe parked at 280 Main Street. That’s the beginning of the park and where you’ll find the pond. And the washrooms. The washrooms don’t have any signs on the door. There is a lookout over the pond. We saw a man fishing. You can park at 218 Main Street but that’s a busier parking lot and it’s the end of the park. But closer to downtown Unionville. Parking is free. Lots of Canadian geese at the entrance. It’s a pretty clean and well groomed park. There’s benches and a few picnic tables. The park actually goes in a roundabout. We saw a double crested cormorant and four turtles in the pond. There were some mosquitoes out. But it’s a nice park with 2 lookouts. We did not see any play grounds. And dogs have to be leashed. I would definitely return.Written 22 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lorraine KToronto, Canada151 contributionsIt was a wonderful experience. I have not picked strawberries in decades, but this was enjoyable, even though it was 38°C when we went. The people at Reesor’s Farm we’re helpful and showed us how to properly pick strawberries and which rows to pick from. They were also nice enough to make available water to guests to make sure they stayed hydrated while picking. They also have a lovely market with well priced fresh produce, fruits, pies, jam, and many other wonderful things.Written 21 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She give me a lot of gifts the good luck bracelet and sweets from Turkey. - sheila270Toronto, Canada3,860 contributionsWe went to see Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat here. The theatre is quite large with comfortable chairs that have plenty of leg and body room. The sound was amazing as well as the lighting. I like that the row of chairs is not flat but on a slant. This theatre has a huge parking lot. I would definitely come back and see another play. You get more bang for your $35 ticket.Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James CMarkham, Canada3 contributionsThis is a great children's museum. They have a rotating exhibit at the top floor which is interesting as well. Great place to kids to explore if it is too cold to play outside.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Written 7 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emma EUtrecht, The Netherlands472 contributionsWell worth an hour of your time. When we visited it had an exhibit about the history of Chinese people in the area, especially related to the impact of the Chinese exclusion act. We learnt a huge amount about the community and gained a greater understanding of the region and the country in the process.
Three was also an exhibit of work by the feminist environmentalist artist Winnie Truong. - Carole EBrampton8 contributionsMy mum and dad skating here while they were 'courting' in the 1930 and later took their children (my sister and me) there to skate too. We even celebrated our joint 'winter birthdays' (my sister, January 4, our mum, January 28 and mine, February 8) there with school friends, grandparents, food and birthday cake. Our grandpa even slipped on the downhill path and managed to arrive in the wood stove-warmed clubhouse with the cake in perfect condition!
Wonderful memories. Thank you to Austin Reesor and the whole Reesor family. By the way, 'we travelled' there a long time before November 2018…1950s and 1960s! I wish CEDARENA was still there.Written 9 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Trail starts at Church Lane, loops around Henderson while traversing the Don a couple of times. Wildlife has been spotted. In the early morning a cacophony of birds great you and squirrels abound. Fall is when you see the colourful flowers and leaves to add to the experience. A must do, see, listen and experience...Written 5 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kristen C2 contributionsThis barn is like no other I have ever been a part of. I have ridden for pleasure, competed, owned my own horse and I’m now thrilled that my daughter is taking up the sport. At this barn you will find that you are always met with kindness. Whatever you are there for, they wholeheartedly support you. The staff is ingratiating, knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, welcoming, the list could go on forever. They have a true love for their animals and put their care at the forefront. They want each rider to progress at their own rate and continually cheer them on. The coaches are outstanding, truly top notch. The other programs they offer, leadership, horse meditation, date nights, goat yoga, all just add to the experience and ambience. If you are looking for a truly special barn, one that makes you feel so good each and every time you are there, look no further.Written 3 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
