Murmansk is a rare destination for an average traveller - only the adventurous do venture into this unique destination of snow and ice in most parts of the year. And some try to see Northern Lights at a cheaper budget - which you may not! But what you MUST is visit Ice Village that has sculptures drawn out by artists which shall give you goose bumps for two reasons - amazing creative genius and its brrr..cold interiors.
The museum exceeded my expectations. It has a nice collection of minerals and rocks, miniatures of mining equipment, interactive model of Earth structure, and much more. Visited the place twice.
Good for both beginners and those who are more skilled. Nice and long hills and a comfortable gondel on the first mountain. I learned how to properly snowboard on these mountains, let that speak for itself :)
Awesome place! Must visit Unbelievable people work there Amongst the snow you will enjoy a lot of tropical plants, palm tree, even coffee Arabica plant , uncountable amount of flowers .. Highly recommended place to visit!
While travelling by train to Murmansk I thought it was a real sea: a Big Woodyavr didn't have the end. It was covered by waves and surrounded by north trees. I liked it much. While coming back by car we had a possibility to look at it from the other side. We liked it even more, when stayed in Kirovsk surrounded by Khibibs. Beautiful place. Must see.
