We had an excellent day with Bosch Travel and Tours. Our driver, Orion, arrived early, explained the day, and was a great host. Prior to our trip, we were contacted through Viator to make sure we understood what was included in our booking. Orion drove us to Hermanus, gave us some history of the area and answered all of our questions. When we got to the dock, it was clear the boat owners knew him and he received a warm greeting. It was agreed that we paid for the whale watching separately, since it is dependent on weather (part of the communication before our trip). The boat company even gave us a discount when they saw our tour guide.
The ship (yacht) was fantastic and after seeing the other options, we clearly were with the best. We saw all 3 varieties of whales and stayed on the water longer than the other boats.
It was lunchtime when we finished the Whale watching, and Orion made reservations for us at a local restaurant.
Our next stop was to see the Penguins, followed by a scenic drive along the coast. He answered all of our questions along the way--even making useful suggestions of things to do on the remaining days in our trip.
We concluded the day at a gift shop (we requested this!) and he took us to a shop that offered 60% off their prices. We never would have found it without him.
