This place was FANTASTIC!!! One exception though, it seemed that the other visitors had a better time than me, for I only ended up with a few broken bones, the best view is from the bottom, but it is very hard to get that sight without a drone or some broken bones. Great place if you don't mind large rocks!!!! 👍

Sapni Fort is somewhat decrepit but the views from it's vicinity are spectacular. However, the road conditions getting there were bad - rutted, muddy trails, width enough for only one vehicle, driving at edge of mountainside. I'm truly surprised previous reviewers never mentioned the horrors of getting there unless the road deteriorated substantially only recently. You need nerves of steel or be a local himalcheli driver not to find the journey very daunting and arguably, not worth the view that truly is great... 😬

This atmosphere is very serene. There are actually two temples side-by-side. This place is really quite in the day. You get rejuvenated when you visit such places. In the night there was a festival that was being celebrated. We couldn’t visit during the festival hours but we could here the music fron our homestay which was a 15-20 mins walk away.

It is a small ancient monastery situated in Kalpa. It has a typical Tibetan architecture. At the time we reached there the monastery was closed. So, we couldn't enter inside the monastery. But, the monastery is very well maintained I must say.
