What travellers are saying
- Dave PulsNottingham, UK1,050 contributionsSpectacular cliffs walk, with variety and amazing views throughout. Best to park in the National Trust car park (£3 for all day) and use the cafe, visitor centre and toilets. We'll worth visiting the village and harbour afterwards.Written 30 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Oztimus ChampagnepapiSuffolk, UK387 contributionsVery pretty place to pop and visit. Obviously went there to see if fat Thor was about. Approach is very very steep and tight. So i saw a vw sheep wagon down there but doubt a Motorhome could make it.Written 31 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelswithibsJarrow, UK199 contributionsAlways Loved St Abb's even before the popularity boomed as a result of Marvel. The place is ideal for a walk around. Visitors centre at the top of the bank is informative and the staff are really helpful.
Love the seaside views from here and would highly recommend a visit!
For the Marvel fans, take a trip to the vistor centre to see some Marvel related items!Written 6 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I used the road approach from the National Trust Car Park, which seemed a little less steep and was more passable (at speed) than the coastal path. It's still a climb but some lovely quiet miles on the way up and a number of great views even before your reach the top. The lighthouse itself is slightly down the cliff but there are some cottages that the lighthouse keepers used to live in which give an impression of what life was like. Well worth a trip up for the views and the quiet but you can only take a car up if you have someone in your party of limited mobility as the road is private but open to walkers, runners etcWritten 12 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. And the sea life is poor not a great venue to diveWritten 9 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BovskiNottingham, UK125 contributionsThanks to Paul Crowe for a brilliant trip out where we saw Seals, Jellyfish, Mackerel along with loads of the sea birds and coastline that was stunning.
We had an hour out in Rome decent weather but you still need to wrap up a bit. Some great speeds and turns across the water made it a thoroughly enjoyable ride out.
Hoping to return next year to repeat the trip and see oneself of the wildlife. Thanks again 👍🏽🥳Written 28 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The B&B accommodation is spot on, a couple of minutes drive from the harbour and a short walk from the pub in Coldingham that does good food in the evening. Diving from Stingray is easy and fun. There is plenty of space on the boat and a lift for easy exits. Danny skippers the boat, assisted by Charlotte, and they make everything easy for the divers on board. If you want to geek out and talk about rebreathers, Danny is definitely your man! Highly recommended - I will definitely be back.Written 23 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
