Definitely worth the trip, was a bit hesitant at first but the views are incredible and the guide was great. Diego was really informative, fun, and kept the group on schedule. Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Jalal was a great tour guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the history of San Miguel and showing us interesting sites.

She also gave everyone a super helpful list of her personal restaurant and cafe recommendations.

    Highly recommend!!

We spent a week walking the streets, visiting shops, parks, churches, and enjoying the historical and architectural aspects of San Miguel de Allende. The cobblestone, bricks and blocks that make up all their streets and sidewalks are beautiful! The town is extremely clean! Although very hilly in most areas, we managed to walk even in the afternoon rains. We enjoyed breakfast at Hortus in the main square and at Umaran Cafe! Loved the restraurant Buganbilia's and Serena Gorda with its lovely lighted and planted covered patio seating area. The people of SMA are friendly, happy, and are welcoming to visitors! We will definitely go back to see more. We used BajioGo.Com for a shuttle service to and from the Leon airport. They were excellent and on-time.

This was an excellent experience mostly because of our tour guide Omar! His knowledge of San Miguel and the rich history of Mexico was incredibly enlightening. We’ve been living in Mexico for 4 years and now I know so much more about this beautiful country.

Wonderful class. Even though I went with 2 friends who are far more trained than I, we all learned something. David's approach is educational but fun. You appreciate how Mexican cuisine really evolved and where different things come from. When it comes to the cooking, we did just enough to feel a part of it, but we particularly enjoyed the eating! I feel like I could do another of his classes and it would remain pretty fresh. Great value for the price and highly recommend.

Good tour. Very informative and efficient. Omar was our tour guide and he was great.
Not much walking since everything is pretty close by. The food was great especially the sopes at El Pegaso. We took our kids (7 and 9) and they enjoyed the history.

The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. Our guide was exceptional! Don’t remember her name lol. She was well versed and knowledgeable on the process and history that goes into their wine making. I definitely learned a lot from her. In addition, she was patient whenever we wanted to take pictures or videos and made sure to tend us at all times even when we were done with the experience.

My favorite part of the experience was definitely tasting the wine and eating from charcuterie board. Love their wines you can definitely taste the quality and smell the aromas. My personal was the Rosé.

Angie was such a fantastic guide! She was so knowledgeable and friendly and even brought visual aids!

I suggest doing the tour early in the trip because now we have a great overview of the area and a better understanding of all we are seeing.

I would recommend this tour and especially Angie to anyone!

Our excursion at Rancho Xotolar was the highlight of our trip to San Miguel. The family is lovely, the experience authentic, the food exceptional, and the horseback ride was fun. We will definite be back.

Well-paced, information packed excursion. Albert is an actual archeologist that participated in the original research of this find. His deep knowledge of the site but also ancient indigenous cultures and the way in he shares it during the tour were amazing.

Excellent walking tour. It was my first time visiting the City of Guanajuato. I was very fortunate to have Bere as my tour guide, as she made it memorable and exciting learning about the history of The Cradle of Mexican Independence, architecture, and other city’s historical locations like El Teatro Juarez, el mercado, the underground streets, and the University of Guanajuato just to name a few. Her down to Earth demeanor mirrors the very city she is showing you: full of life and excitement. I recommend this tour.
