- Sachin VMumbai, India95 contributionsBeen there as a child ( don't remember though ) and went on 27th September 2023 and was completely at peace when we stepped inside the Ashram. The whole area is so clean nestled in greenery.
We performed the arti and had the Mahaprasad which was simple but tasty hot food consisting of Subzi , rice , dal and sheera.

Khopoli is a great option for a walk in a cool, airy place outside the city of Mumbai. It is located at the foot of Sahyadri and on the banks of Patalganga river. The beautiful greenery of the region and the popular attraction at the Shri Vireshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shri Veereshwar Temple is an old historical temple located in Khopoli.
This is a good place for you to visit, bless and pray for Vireshwar, the incarnation of Lord Mahadev. This temple is old but it has some spiritual energy in it. We feel that there will be real peace and tranquility here. Visiting Kholopi in the rainy season will double your enjoyment of walkin।
