Always a great experience. Every time we go we see something new or learn something new! The kids enjoy searching for the sea turtles in the shark tank!

Fun rides for kids. We took metro (metro equivalent, Canadian street car, subway and bus network) to the Toronto Centre island. Got off and walked around to exhaust the kids while taking rides. By the time we were done with rides the kids were hungry so we had a picnic. We later went to the beach. Open lush grounds with awesome colorful and beautiful flowers and views. Plenty of space for whatever you are into. Spent the entire day till the kids were done. The ride back on the ferry was great. You should try this when the island is open. Pre order your tickets online and skip the line at main entrance, a plus.

While I understand the frustration people have written about for their tickets, it’s very understandable. And I believe your wait is going to vary based on how popular it is at the time. We bought tickets at the kiosk and were able to get in 90 minutes later. The people next to us were offered the same as us or the next day and they said they were leaving the next day and couldn’t. So I get it. My suggestion, give yourself a little wiggle room and just buy them online. You save I think $2/ticket that was too. Yes, like others, we still had to wait. I’ve been to the top of several tall buildings and there’s always a wait despite having a timed ticket. So just expect that. There’s different things to see along the way to make it more tolerable. Once at the top, the view is incredible. It’s pretty crowded but manageable. We didn’t do the restaurant or edgewalk but those options are there. They have a really great gift shop at the end which had we known we would’ve found such few souvenirs at our other tourist spots, we would’ve spent a lot more money at this gift shop so think about that too.

Beautifully preserved historic market that I always enjoy visiting. Always astounded at the variety in the stalls and food in such a small space! You will find all kinds of stuff here to suit every palette and taste. All the vendors are friendly and happy for the business. All their prices are reasonable as well. Very centrally located to transport and easy to walk to. Highly recommend!

There is something at the ROM for everyone. The Fantastic Beasts exhibit is not to be missed. Get there early. It gets busy especially on rainy days.

Must-see museum with tons of different pieces from around the world. Truly astounding the immense collection here, and the amount of special exhibitions showcasing famous artists! The amazing Galleria Italia, designed by Frank Gehry, juts out for the entire length of the building, is completely made out of wood, and is a nice place to sit to watch the world go by down below. The 2008 renovation also added some beautiful warm wooden staircases throughout the building. The staff here are very friendly and professional, and tickets are reasonably priced (book ahead!). There's a gift shop and bistro near the entrance, and a little cafe in Galleria Italia. Recently rebuilt park "The Grange" right behind, which kids will love. 505 Dundas streetcar stops right outside, and a short walk away from St. Patrick subway station. Highly highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto!

Beautifully and faithfully restored former beer distillery that makes you feel like you're in the 1800s. Lots of independent furniture, design, clothing, and art stores everywhere to shop in. Tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream stores (highly recommend visiting Balzac's Coffee!). Even a theatre for plays and concerts! Good transport connections either by walking along the Esplanada or taking the 504B King streetcar line. Obviously pricier than other areas of the city, you're paying for the theming and atmosphere.

Casa Loma is a nice scenic attraction. The grounds are picturesque. This is a self-guided experience. Audio guides are available for pick up on the lower level to listen to facts about various rooms within this 98 room castle. I found that most of the recordings were too long. It should be 1 or 2 minutes tops.

Be warned there are A LOT of stairs, some of which are narrow and spiraled. There is an elevator but I think it is only for those physically impaired.
Admission was included with the CityPass. I didn't have to wait to enter (noon on a Sunday).

There's a small celebrity walk showcasing wax figures of celebs from movies shot on the location.

Massive park with tons of things to do. Grenadier Pond is a must-see, very tranquil and serene. The best time to come is around April so you see the beautiful cherry blossoms. Great transport connections to the north, east, and south, and even a little trackless trolley that kids will love.

The pretzel with mustard was OUTSTANDING. Should have bought more than one!! We enjoyed our first poutine, bratwurst, steak, burger, and it was very convenient to the CN Tower.

When we were planning our visit to Toronto, we decided to go to a Blue Jays game the last night we were there. We picked up 4 tickets on Stubhub at a really good price, and went to a fun game.

The stadium is very accessible and right next to the CN Tower, which looked awesome as we left the stadium at night after the game.

I was able to find a few things that suited my taste and were affordable during my time shopping at the eaton centre. There’s quite a variety of clothing stores and a food court with great food as well.

Interesting, fun museum. I'm a bit of a sneakerhead, so this was the type of quirky museum that appealed to me (though it is decidedly NOT a sneaker museum). Only knock on it (hence the 4 stars vs 5) is that it's not that big! I was expecting to spend at least an hour or two going through everything, but we were done in about 45 min.

It is a great deal, though, if you're going with a family. The family package was incredibly affordable, especially compared to the other attractions Toronto has to offer.

We toured the gardens. Many blooming plants and lots of huge old trees. Paths wind through the gardens and trees.
