- mommalou4Saskatchewan, Canada522 contributionsI found these gardens mentioned on TripAdvisor and decided to check them out one afternoon when we had some time to kill, during our ten day visit to Oakville.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but found a pretty location on the water complete with cherry blossoms, tulips, fountains and walking paths. Other plants had yet to bloom, as it was still early in the season.
Several were out for a stroll, or even doing laps around the path. It’s a very serene place to visit. There was a unique art gallery on site as well.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are many trails, challenging hills, washrooms, kids play structures, sixteen mile creek and picnic facilities. It is free to the public, many trailheads to jump into the trail system.Written 10 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassandra S8 contributionsWe “stumbled” across Cameron’s via TripAdvisor and decided to take a ride over on a rainy day. We did not regret it! The staff was great, beer was awesome, and it was a fun couple of hours tasting beers and chatting. Definitely recommend!Written 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- The Artsy Fartsy girlOakville, Canada10 contributionsA place where I can escape the realities of life for a few moments. It's a sacred place for artists and artisans. A place where I my inner artist is completely satiated with the centre's overall spirit and it's beauty, it's setting in a natural habitat and the exciting art work and exhibits that it holds within it's walls. This place truly holds it's name to it's fame. It's just fantastic!Written 25 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan POakville, Canada9 contributionsThe strip of Kerr Street from the Lakeshore to just south of Speers Road is a great place to wonder for an afternoon and find some local shops and restaurants that are truly locally owned and operated. A number of merchants who have been driven out by the ridiculous rents and lack of parking on the Lakshore in downtown Oakville have relocated here. Maro's, Gingerman (closed for renovations at this time) and Kerr Street Cafe are fabulous! Gear Music is one of the best guitar and music gear shops in the GTA, and there are some lovely small parks to sit and people-watch and enjoy your coffee. In the evening, check out the Moonshine Cafe for the best live music in Oakville.Written 2 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - b0b55russellOrillia, Canada1,180 contributionsThe sailors of the 1800's would be like the truck drivers of the major highways of today in my personal opinion. It is no accident that there is a customs house in old historic downtown Oakville. When you do a guided tour of downtown Oakville put on by the Oakville Historic Society the importance of the Great Lakes in the 1800's is explained to you. It is fitting that this memorial is placed near Bronte Harbour to honour the lives that these sailors gave and of by gone days of the importance of shipping on the Great Lakes. It may not be one of the more popular memorials in town by it honours the unsung workers of the 1800's!Written 24 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
