If your looking for some fun that nobody is to old for take a ride on the train or one of the 2 Carousels at the waterfront these carousels ate hand made by local artists that take amazing pride in their work so its worth checking it out and even taking a ride on either of these 3 attractions I highly recomend them

This little gem of a museum provides little known historical information about the development of the RAF and Canada’s contribution in wartime aviation. It also stretches into the Cold War era. Thoroughly enjoyed it, just wish we had more time to get through it. Staff were very friendly and the extremely knowledgeable. Entry by donation.

After a long week no better place to enjoy a delicious pint of beer! Service was excellent, so friendly, the environment they have over there was very welcoming. Highly recommend Big Juicy IPA and Bear Runner Blonde. March 12th 2021

Visited mid August 2021. The beach was clean & litter free. Lovely forested views. Few ppl enjoying the astonishingly warm waters during a heat wave.

Bogie boarding and ski trailing filled our afternoon. The ski hill was busy and well kept. Lots of kids having a ball.

We couldn't believe the size of this mall for the city that it's in. Very clean and open with a lot of variety. After not being out for quite some time, we decided to hit the mall on a rainy day of our camping trip. Our kids were SO excited to be out and almost back to normal.

Easy to park and with access from more than one entrance, we noticed that people with campers and trailers were able to easily park.

A group of dedicated people to the automotive scene make use of this park every August for the last 14 years. We thank the city of north bay for allowing us to come back every year. The park itself is a great setup with public washrooms on site!

Great paved trail connecting the beautiful waterfront with parts of our community. Notably the paceway connects North Bay to Calendar Bay to allow for long leisurely rides. A bike lane was recently painted on Memorial Drive to allow for physical distance and increased volume of use due to Covid 19.

We heard and read a little bit about this beach on Trout Lake and decided to visit while in North Bay and must say it was worth the drive. There’s a small sandy beach area but the water and views are amazing, so pretty, quite the photo op. Unfortunately it was a cool day and we didn’t go in swimming but the water certainly looked inviting. There was one family who was enjoying the beach and water though while we were there but brrrr 🥶. Looks like a great place to spend a day or go to have a picnic and a swim. We will definitely be returning on a warmer day. Highly recommend a visit here at Birchhaven Cove Beach.

this Cathedral has been around for many many years. It has been renovated and updated decades ago and now has a great mix of the old architecture and new age feel. Outside still has the original stone exterior and the classic Cathedral stairs leading to the original stained wood main doors. But inside is painted including the dome over the alter. Still has the original stained glass windows depicting the stations of the cross. It is a beautiful Cathedral and the priest and staff there are open, welcoming and compassionate. The blend of old and new works well. Worth a look for sure.

We are fond of visiting local museums and there is a lot of history to discover for North Bay and districts; mining, railroads and forestry. Those are the main focus of the downstairs exhibits but be sure to take a walk through the city's history as presented in the upstairs gallery.

The North Bay farmer's market is good for all group types and ages. It is always full of people picking up local food or wares, grabbing a snack, enjoying the fresh air with a side of music and maybe waiting in line for Ken the balloon dude. The market moves indoors during the winter months so you can see your favourite vendors year round.

One of the memorable experience in Ontario. We stayed 4 days at Gordons park and walked around the area. totally isolated from noisy area. Excellent guide to see wolfe and owls, specially evening tours. They also have small nature preservation room to explain the local ecosystem. Life of owls and why they are respected by first nation people. Forest are amazing and very safe. We were lucky to see full mon and colourful sunset.
