The only reason i gave this rating a very good as opposed to and excelletn rating is -----That the self guiding tour at the farm is in need of an upgrade in terms of the interperative information signs. They are faded and you can hardly see them. Echodale has lots of new trails (summer/fall 2021) to explore and it really is a fantastic place to run, bike, swim, have BBQ's or parties.

It is a very nice park, lots of green with picnic benches here and there, a small creek and you can enjoy beautiful sun set. It's located next to the Trans Canada Highway not far from the Saamis Tepee. You can park the car near the skateboard park on the Kipling St SE, or at the end of Kin Coulee Rd SW. It's a quite big park.

Great information on native history and amazing structure. Can see it as your driving into town. Wasn't busy at all and lots of parking!

My kids LOVE nature, they catch lizards, frogs, geckos instead of watching TV, one of the benefits of growing up in Australia. During a visit home to the Hat we were fortunate enough to visit this little gem - a tropical paradise - in a desolate semi-arid desert! seeing Morpha butterflies was the highlight, but don't be fooled, when their wings are closed they look like an ordinary brown moth. When they open - WOW! Much appreciation for the efforts put into creating this unique experience.

The medicine hat puts on a great exhibition every year where there’s lots of things to see and enjoy a few new foods and rides and music and many other things that keep you very entertained. Also there’s the chuckwagon races and other sporting events

Likely would have been much better at any other time of year, after the Chinook it was a lovely walk with parts totally clear, some nice compact snow and some parts were slick and icy. I'd still recommend it just use caution as needed (aka for those like me who are walking with their 75 yr old parent)

We stopped at the visitor centre to see what was around that we could look at. The man at the counter was super friendly and showed us pictures from his own cell phone. He showed us stuff off the beaten path that was worth going to see. Extremely happy

Cant complain - food court is good - fair number of stored including a coles book store. It seems book stores are increasingly hard to find.

Went to Med Hat for a whl game. We stopped by the Canalta in the afternoon and were able to get in to watch some of the team practice. We also noticed they use the facility as a walking track when there are no events on.

When we returned for the evening game, we were unsure of what the parking was as there are signs for premier seating but weren’t sure what that meant. Regardless we found parking elsewhere and it was a close walk. Bag/purse check upon entrance. Concessions were cheaper than Regina Brandt centre (large popcorn $5, poutine $6, cotton candy $4). Bathrooms were large and clean. Didn’t notice any wait time for use. Seating was easy to find and the big screen monitor was great quality. Overall a great facility.
