A small market with a variety of stalls including plants, some clothes and fruit and vegetables.

There’s plenty of parking nearby although you have to pay.

    A little disappointing

We visited Queen Elizabeth Country Park for the first time.
Parking, cafe & toilets were adequate and clean. Parking fees were reasonable.

The trails were good, quite rooty which I can see being challenging in the wet, but good fun.
There was a fair amount of climbing. The downhill section of the blue run was nice n’ flowy and fun to ride.
It was a 4 hour round trip for us, so it won’t be a regular destination for us, but we’ll definitely visit again.

I have swum here before, quite a few times. Pool is excellent at the times l go, not too crowded. Staff are always friendly. However the changing rooms are awkward, tired and could do with a deep clean

Recently revisited the common after many years and what a difference. Trying to vary walks with the dog and found it quite refreshing. Informative signposting and improved walkways will definitely be visiting more often

The play area is good . Lots of fun for the children. Parking is a bit hit and miss. Not many places to park. The food is not good at all and very limited choice with not good value for money.

Kerry’s service is a great alternative to the usual holiday entertainment for children. They get involved and create something during their time there. They get to take it home too which is always a bonus.

One of my son’s is really into cooking/baking and did one of the more advanced courses with Kerry and she taught him to temper chocolate and really sparked his enthusiasm for chocolate work.

    I’d definitely recommend Kerry’s classes.

Food somewhat average but tasty and hot.

    Appalling service.

Had to ask several times to be served. First course took a long time to arrive considering pub was practically empty.

Had to then look for someone to ask to order desserts.

Had to look again for someone to bring the bill

Table was still littered with our crockery when we left.

In this current climate customers shouldn't have to re-mask and walk around a nearly empty pub looking for staff and a reasonable level of service.

I would recommend this riding school to anyone, any age looking to learn to ride. Excellent facilities with high quality instructors! The horses are also very well looked after. From all the riding schools I’ve seen, I would say this is defiantly the best.

This is an excellent chauffeur and airport transfer service I would recommend to all.
It is punctual, professional, friendly, effecient and has superiorly comfortable and clean vehicles including a people carrier.
This is the service to use if you want to reach the airport easily and problem free.

I have just got back from this area and needed to let my dog off the lead for a bit, and saw the wood so I went in and immediately thought wow. It is so spacious, and brilliant for just getting lost among the trees (if you have a six year old like me, make them wear fluorescent clothing).

Very impressed. Will be revisiting on afternoons where I usually just lounge. Thank you!

Busy night with the darts team in on a Monday evening so lively pub atmosphere. A warm welcome and friendly service from the bar. Long tables available for our group.

Ann Louise and Thistle wool shops are fabulous and are family run. They hold a range of interesting classes for complete novices to experts. These include crochet, quilting, knitting and sewing Samplers. Their classes are reasonably priced and are held in their Cowplain shop. Over the years I have been to a number of their craft taster days where you can try out a range of crafts in a safe and supportive environment. I am no expert at all but there is always a friendly member of staff on hand to talk you through the next steps. The range of goods in their shops are fantastic too and offer good value for money. Thank you Jean, Claire and Kate
