We enjoyed our taco tour but it started out rough. This was a walking tour. We met at the San Jose del Cabo sign at the square. When the other party arrived we walked down a block for one bottle of water then back the same way for the first restaurant, we were then told only one sampling of food at each of the establishments,no drink included, that was why we had water. First off if that was the case, why not bring a cooler of water at the start and pass it out? We have been to many food / taco tours in various places and each stop included soda, frescos, horchata ect, you only had to pay for alcoholic beverages.
We did enjoy our tour as the evening progressed, we were given explanations of the food, the restaurants and the history, we went to a tequila tasting and a chocolate presentation. Overall we did have a good tour, even returning to one of the restaurants later in the week for dinner.
We had 4 different tacos, Dona Ninos tamales, tequila, and chocolates which were delicious. Everyone was nice, answered questions and allowed picture taking. As this was a walking tour we did get insights into the history and culture of Los Cabos. We finished the tour happy and full.
