The best shopping mall in Cancun and very close to the hotel where we stayed. Easy to access by bus, or by foot. Everyone could find something interesting. There are many different types of stores, from H&M, Zara, Massimo Duty, Armani Exchange, to Jaime Ibiza( authentic Mexican brand), and my favorite, Victoria Secret ,… Starbucks,Häagen-Dazs, for taking a break.

We wanted to go to the market, thinking it was similar to the straw market in Nassau, but it wasn’t. We thought it would be vendors selling their crafts, but it was basically a store. The tour guide said to bargain with them, but we didn’t really didn’t get good prices. It was more expensive than we expected and they didn’t haggle much.

There's a variety of fresh fruits and food options here. It is a little on the dirtier side but everyone we encountered was super friendly. Most of the stores weren't pushy as compared to Mercado 28. Because of this, most of them didn't speak English. Market was relatively small, it's not a must visit spot unless you would like to try exotic fruits.

High-end shopping area with great restaurants - easy to reach from Hotel District. After spending too much money on my wife and daughter at the many shops, we had a wonderful lunch overlooking the canal, then grabbed an ice cream before driving back to our hotel. Roofed parking keeps your car cool and safe if you have a rental. Otherwise a quick cab ride from most of the hotels in the Hotel District. Nice half-day outing.

    An outdoor shopping centre.

Said to be an outlet Mall, but really no lower prices

Typical American brands. Not worth the trip from the hotel zone

Luxury Avenue is located by Plaza Kukulcán. They have many luxury brands such as Rolex, CH Caroline Herrera, Fendi, Bvlgari, Burberry, Cartier, Montblack, Salvatore Ferragamo etc. The only negative is there are plenty of sales people and they jump on you almost immediately and it makes it uncomfortable while trying to shop and being followed around.

This shopping centre is very good for souvenirs but not very good for anything else. The pharmacist didn’t have the medication that I needed. Try elsewhere.

As soon as we got off the bus and set our foot on the property, we were hounded by the stall owners. Everyone of them demanded that we come into their stall to look and buy their goods. We had to cut our visit short. It was hard to just look at anything without being pressured to purchase!

Lots of boarded up store fronts. This is in the original area of the Hotel Zone. Coco Bongo, Hard Rock Cafe, and Senior Frogs are here along with other ‘party” bars. To me , this area has become the Las Vegas‘ Circus Circus’ area of Cancun - Very Faded Glory - but the beaches are still wonderful there.

Contrary to some reviews, we found this place really good value for souvenir shopping. Much cheaper for the same items found in Resort shops and even Mercado 28 market. Didn't have everything we wanted, but when you are paying 300 pesos at other places and getting the same thing for 79 pesos, it is well worth a look! Only downer was the lack of fitting rooms!

Galeria Balance Cancun is a small art gallery located in the Plaza Caracol shopping mall in the center of the Hotel Zone. You can find interesting contemporary art of various artists from Cancun, Mexico and other Caribbean countries.

It's recommended if you are looking for cultural activities in Cancun, or just to spend time for a rainy afternoon. Staff are very kind.

This was a fascinating shopping experience that offered lots of interesting things to purchase, plus a tequila tasting area in the rear (at least it looked like that). We bought some souvenirs from this store which were OK. I must admit that the ice cream stand in front sold ice cream (or gelato) that was not the best. Still, it was a fun place to visit.
