What travellers are saying
- DejaInCanadaFort Saint John, British Columbia, Canada224 contributionsThis beach is just amazing! The blues in the crystal clear water are incomparable and the area is clean, well kept, with lots of room and shade!! There’s a beautiful Look-out and playground. They charge to use the washrooms. The waves can be pretty serious here. Super fun for good swimmers but I wouldn’t bring my littles here for water fun.Written 14 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - joe-chicago-23Chesterfield, MO1,345 contributionsThis was the center of our activities outside of our resort. It has multiple sections like luxury, fashion, entertainment and dining. With armed security guards on patrol we felt very safe here.
What made this shopping mall special for us was the number and variety of restaurants. We ate at one almost every night of our trip.Written 13 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - richardMainland, UK2 contributionsAbsolutely brilliant day out, all the rides were good fun. Our kids of 12,9 and 6 had plenty things to do, lazy river is a lovely place to chill after the slides. We enjoyed the zip lines and all staff were fantastic and well trained. I’d really recommend it all, we went VIP which included meals and drinks so was good value, food was clearly catering for locals but had burgers etc for tourists. Both were really tasty, toilets and park were very clean although not too busy so unsure how that would be in peak season. I would have given a 5 star rating but for two things, paying an adult price for a 12 year old and then saying he had to be 13 to use the Lazer experience was ridiculous. With our VIP package we had the dolphin experience and this was fantastic, sadly the day was a little tainted by the extortionate cost of the pics of dolphins. $275 for pictures and even after haggling the best we could get was $200 for 6 photos!
We would go again but just note that even VIP guests have to pay extra for lockers and lazy rings.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie LBerthoud, CO20 contributionsI had a free morning in the Hotel Zone so I took an Uber to this museum and ruins. The place looked pretty run down, but after walking 8 ramps to the museum level, the room with the artifacts was worth it the effort.
The plaques on each artifact are in Spanish, so I used my iPhone camera with Google Translate to understand what I was looking at. I went around 9:30 am on a Wednesday and there was no line and very few people there. You can take photos.
After wandering thru the museum I went down and walked the path to the ruins. The remains of the temple and household were a pleasant walk through the trees. Nice shade but very humid, of course.
When I was done I walked the mile to Playa Delphines and enjoyed some time there before catching an Uber back to my hotel.Written 13 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I prefer the Winjet ferry even though this one is supposed to be faster. Why? The AC inside area for Ultramarar seems to only be for first class passengers (boo). On Winjet that I rode this morning, we were inside and in air conditioning. Amazing. For Ultramar? Upstairs has AC but it’s open air AC which is not as cool if it’s summer in Mexico. That said, Ultramar had two live musicians on the boat which made the time pass very quickly. Avoid the daiquiri. I am not much on drinking alcohol but wanted something ice cold because it was 4pm and the hot part of the day. It was cold but even I couldn’t taste the rum. Don’t fall for the trap of buying a round trip ticket. They will try to sell it to you. Just say one way ticket and it’s best because the two ferry companies do not accept each other’s tickets.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pathfinder39829022 contributionsExcellent day trip to Xavage. The jet boat that does 360 spins was the highlight of our day, however the off road ATV, zip lines, and rafting were also excellent. Staff were incredible, as were the guides (all booked via TUI). You really only get offered juice throughout the park, so if you want a soda with your all inclusive package you will have to hunt for it. Very little ques and all rides were available. Had a very enjoyable day.Written 17 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
