I highly recommend this tour and found it to be really rich in information for the price. Transportation was super easy and on time, with pickup in multiple locations. Once at the site, entry was efficient, and our government-certified guide, Miguel, was fantastic! Not only did he share the history of the site, but he also injected how important it is to visit other cultures around the world, sending a subtle, yet very positive message of unity, which I loved. Duration at about 2-2.5 hours on the tour was perfect. The site is huge, and after that amount of time, I think I would have reached my limit for the day. We were back in CDMX by 2pm and had the whole afternoon and evening for other things to do. It was a great experience!

What can I say other than this place should be one of the 7 wonders of the world. The mineral waters were tepid to hot and not only enjoyable but soothing. Next time we're in Mexico, we plan on spending at least 3 days at the Grutas de Tolantongo. There is NO NEED to order lunch beforehand since there are eateries inside the resort other than the restaurant which aren't so expensive.

Now on to what I didn't like:

The small backpacks which are provided do include a water bottle, sport towel, headlamp, cell phone water protector, toilet paper and wet wipes, and a wet clothes bag (which is the same bag). The water bottle reminds of a used 99 cent plastic bottle (it had a sticker which was peeled off like it had been used for something else previously) which is filled 3/4 with clean water. The headlamp which is included did not work and would not be replaced for a working one. My husband misplaced his bottle at one of the pools and my headlamp fell off my head under a waterfall as our guide moved us through the caves. NOTE: If the water bottle OR headlamp goes missing, you will be charged $30 USD! We offered to of course reimburse the cost, but didn't expect to be charged $30 USD for something even I could easily replace for half the cost. Every one of the items provided in the pack MUST be returned at the end of the trip.

Alexa was so great and the whole trip was very smooth. Lunch was ok and I wish there was more time at the pyramids, but otherwise super educational

Our tour crew was great. The driver had to park around the corner from our hotel and we were confused where they were. They walked to our hotel to make sure we found the van. When we arrived, Linda was very accommodating to our family with a toddler, making sure we weren’t too hot while waiting to view the temples. The walk was hot, 🥵, but our family learned a lot.

Our guides, Steph and Roberto, were incredible hosts, sharing so much knowledge about the history and culture of this ancient city. They explained each site in a way that made everything feel alive and fascinating. After exploring, we enjoyed a delicious meal together, tasting authentic Mexican dishes that Steph and Roberto recommended. Their friendly personalities and deep knowledge truly made the tour special – I learned so much and felt like I was experiencing the real spirit of Teotihuacan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mexico City!

Tania was a phenomenal tour guide who was very attentive the whole time and shared history as well as the best spots once in the park. She also had top tier food recs. The early wake up time was well worth it as the park was extremely empty when we arrived and were able to take lovely pictures and enjoy this experience fully.

Excellent day and tour. Our drive Federico picked us up right on time at our hotel. We met Julia our guide on the way due to traffic. She was incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with Teotihuacan. Truly a remarkable place and a must visit.

We had an absolutely amazing day with our tour guide George and driver Arturo. They picked us up right on time at our Airbnb and took us to a fantastic bakery for a special Día de los Muertos pastry as the first stop on our day long trip to Teotihuacán
and the Shrine of the Guadelupe.

George was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history and culture Teotihuacán and the shrine. He welcomed our questions, going above and beyond to make our day a fun, informative, five star experience.

The restaurant chosen for lunch, the shops made available, and the overall ease and comfort of the day made it relaxing and memorable.

We highly recommend this tour company, and this guide and driver in particular.

Teotihuacan is one of those places you can really feel the enormity of time it’s humbling and amazing to stir up with these giant structures that were all built by hand. Hector, our tour guide, did an amazing job of explaining the complex history and cultures of this awe-inspiring place.

Ernesto, a knowledgeable archaeologist and fun guy, was a great guide to these impressive archaeological sites. This is a must-see. Note that it’s long time on your feet and in the sun; bring a hat and sunscreen.

    It was an amazing experience!
Thanks to Giovanni, our guide, who was very friendly, experienced, and patient.
Also thanks to Beto, our other guide who stayed behind and toured the lakes with a couple of people who weren't able to summit.
I'd also like to mention that both guides were very aware of the weather situation (as it could have rained or had lightning), so they were prepared to take the necessary precautions and lead us down a quicker path down the mountain. This is what you would expect from experienced mountain guides, but I just want to reiterate this.
Thank you Mexico Travesias. I will look forward to my next adventure with your company.
    Regards.
