We visited the Cave Restaurant, had an amazing tour guide through the pyramids, we visit the cacao location and it was overall the most fun experience in Mexico City!!

- Erica T2 contributionsThis pre-Hispanic Shaman ritual was hands-down one of the most profound experiences of my life. Not only was Maria, our host, incredibly communicative, engaging and accommodating, but her talent for translating Huitzi's words truly made a difference in the experience.
As for Huitzi, his powerful facilitation of the ritual was just so... poetic. I cried multiple times inside the sweat lodge just because the insights I received hit me so hard. Maria, Huitzi, and their understudies, Julio and Sasha, made us feel very safe, and they emphasized that we were free to do this at our own pace and comfort level, and to leave anytime we needed to.
And of course, I made some wonderful friends at the ritual itself. We all shared our stories afterwards and grabbed lunch together. This doesn't always happen in my Airbnb experiences, but something about the Temazcal just makes it so natural. If you love spiritual experiences, this is DEFINITELY the activity for you. Our guide, Ana, was very knowledgeable about the history of the grutas, and the towns we passed through along the way there/back. At the grutas, she took us to the pools, the cave/waterfall, and the river, and gave us plenty of time at each stop. Our favorite was the cave/waterfall- she took us deep into the cave which was an incredible adventure. The driver, Miguel, was also great- patient, kind, and a very safe driver. - Anthony T11 contributionsRichard was incredibly attentive to our needs, consistently demonstrating care by offering blankets, tissues, and frequent breaks during the hike. We even finished the tour ahead of schedule! We felt completely safe and well-cared for throughout the journey, and were absolutely blown away by the spectacular scenery and countless photo opportunities.
While the interior of the vehicle was clean and Richard drove safely, the older car's suspension felt somewhat harsh on the longer drives. This minor detail aside, I would wholeheartedly recommend Richard and this tour to others.
