- bryanmantezoniHouston, TX2,787 contributionsIf you’re looking for bargains, this is the place to go because they sell all kinds of merchandise specially gold and silver, this is the place with the Mexicans go when they don’t have money and they dump their valuables for a couple of dollars, you can see around and Find out what has expired And buy it for a cheaper price.Written 20 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - shawnl4535 contributionsNoah picked us up from our hotel right on time. When we got to the location, we were handed off at the local gift shop area for a bit where we learned about the Aztec culture, their tools, and the agave. Tastings were included.
We then left with Noah to the pyramids. He was a great guide, providing detailed information. He had a tablet and magazine to further show detail.
Being this is a private tour, it did cost more, but it was worth it. We went at our own pace and were able to ask questions.
Lots of people selling lots of stuff so be prepared for that. Do bring sunglasses and sunscreen (I left them in the car not realizing we really did need them).
This was a great experience, lots of history and culture - a must go.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great table in the sun.

We made a small stop here to buy souvenirs and we were very taken by the space, people, traditional Mexican candy offerings, and the service. We were in and out in 15 minutes, so if you are nearby, try your best to make a stop here.Written 2 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Liz RebollarJilotepec, Mexico3 contributionsThe first time I went, I was very fascinated because there were many things that I liked, they really have affordable prices and different areas where you can see articles from different countries and their cultures. In addition to offering a very good food area. There are too many small places where you can buy anime, manga, kpop, electronics, etc.Written 31 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dennisfrChicago, IL344 contributionsMy wife and I have visited Mexico many times, and have seen many places, in Mexico City and elsewhere, that sell bona fide Mexican crafts. This is the best of all of them. My wife learned of it by doing some research, as a result of which we went to Polanco primarily to have a look at this store. It was wonderful -- great products and very helpful people.Written 9 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel SGreenwood, SC154 contributionsThis was a cute little store. Some nice products. Beautifully decorated. The woman working was very nice and the little girl with her was an adorable helper.Written 22 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - murali8121Kochi (Cochin), India801 contributionsRight across the Plaza Hidalgo is the entrance to the market place. Very colourful from the entry on wards you get to see plenty of handicrafts and other souvenirs in rows of shops. Opening hours are 11.00 am to 9.00 pm on Mon- Thu and 10.00 am to 11.00 pm on Fri-Sun.Written 30 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lisaroseWashington DC, DC550 contributionsIf you're looking for shopping that goes beyond souvenirs or traditional handicrafts, try this collection of hip Mexican design shops. Shoes, clothing, kids stuff, jewelry, bags - there is a good variety to be found. There are also a couple excellent cafes set around the courtyard. Also, they host events, bazars, and festivals (I just went to the King Cake one) so I recommend checking out their instagram account to see what's coming up.Written 6 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 0ut-0f-0fficeWashington DC70 contributionsDelicious hot chocolate, offered in various levels of sweetness (45% - 72%, I think), available plain and with a few added flavors (early grey, lavender, few others.) as well. Really tasty, got it multiple times. I thought the coffees and deserts were nothing special - the molten chocolate cake was how you'd expect - good, molten :-) The ice cream wasn't that flavorful, but I also don't tend to like Mexican ice cream. Service was regular and the speak a bit of English if you need.Written 19 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Duane MLas Cruces, NM20 contributionsJust had an excellent experience with the wonderful senora in this shop. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Spoke English for the non-Spanish speakers. Was absolutely honest about material (linen vs cotton vs blend). I have been lied to about lino vs algodon before. This would never happen at this shop.
Fantastic selection. Could not ask for more. Will return again and again.

Great ambience. Great food (we had steak, jugo de carne, and grilled green vegetables from the steak place- I think it's called La Mayoral), dumplings from the dumpling stand and artisanal beers. Also bought some amazing hand made chocolates from the coffee shop right at the entrance. We only had an hour to spend here before we had to leave for the airport but it would be a nice place to have a couple of drinks and eat until you're stuffed. Will definitely come back.Written 13 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Galina RDubai, United Arab Emirates187 contributionsI visited this shop during my short visit to Mexico City and was impressed with the variety of the silver jewellery. The staff was very friendly and helped me to choose a nice silver set as per my taste. The prices are reasonable and the quality is really good. The items which they sell are hand made by local artisans.
All my friends back home are complimenting me and asked next time to pick something for them as well.
It's a good place if you are looking for unique designs and gifts for friends or loved ones.Written 11 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
