- TraveltheorientSan Antonio, TX605 contributionsThe local English speaking guide was excellent! Enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable about the murals of Orozco. We learned a lot about that fascinating man and his displayed work. The Gift shop also had some interesting items...Written 11 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mamabear109Alamo, CA72 contributionsWhat a wonderful zoo, maybe one of the best we have been to. We started with the safari, which was great, glad we did it early. We also did the sky ride, I wish we had done earlier in the day, gives you a good view of the zoo to make plans for the day. We spent 5 hours at the zoo, we could have stayed longer but wanted to beat Friday traffic. On a Friday there were no lines and not many people. The enclosures were great and we were able to see all the animals. As a bonus you get a beautiful view of the canyon. Highly suggest making this part of your trip!Written 29 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Fernanda TSao Jose Dos Campos, SP181 contributionsSuch a beautiful and peaceful place. Good place for pick nicks, relaxation or going for a run/walk. There are different distance trails, arid and Japanese gardens, cafeteria, public bathroons and parking lot. Had a very nice morning there.Written 22 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- oxlahunEdmonton50 contributionsThis Gothic church is well-kept. It is in deed a jewel in the center of Guadalajara. It is a must-to see. This architecture brings richness to the city and it is in my opinion a much nicer church than the cathedral due to the color glass.Written 1 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - adrenalinejunkie007Los Angeles, CA85 contributionsWe were lucky enough to get tickets for the philarmonic orchestra during our trip (pre-planned, though I saw people purchasing tickets day-of). The theater is beautiful indoors and out, and the concert was amazing. They don't have bag check and don't accept any liquids inside (bottles OK, but they must be empty). I plan on visiting and catching another concert at a later time.Written 12 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,750 contributionsThe Basilica de Zapopan , a Franciscan Sanctuary dates back to 1689 and is famous for a wooden virgin, shipped from Spain. It is an impressive chuech internally and externally and withing the town of Zapopan and a short walk from the Metro Line 3.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ole Blue EyesTustin, CA232 contributionsA place of work and business open to the public. The murals and views from the second floor are fantastic. Our 3 young children enjoyed as well. 30-60 minutes is sufficient.Written 12 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AerowingMonee, IL5,966 contributionsIf you’re into cemeteries or are just into history then this is a great tour to experience.
My wife and I came here for the 1:00pm tour. It’s guided tours only, no walking around on your own. The cost for a tour is about $7usd per person. There’s a few tour times a day, best to check their website for more info.
We arrived about 12:30pm and we were the only two Americans there so we ended up getting a private tour with an English-speaking man for just the two of us, he started the tour about 12:45pm which was great.
There’s lots of history in here including the founders graves who were from Scotland.
It’s not a real big cemetery but it’s full of beautiful monuments and everything is explained to you very well. The cemetery is also home of the Cuervo tequila family as well.
We love this tour and visiting here and highly recommend to anyone looking for something to do in Guadalajara.Written 8 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When I went I didn't know the place, and I went for a walk, I got lost and I didn't know how to get back, besides the fact that there is no sign, because I couldn't talk to anyone, until I met other people and asked them how to get back and why I was finally able to meet my family.Written 11 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
