- jimherm409Hampton Bays, NY1 contributionTroy was the best captain we could have asked for, he made the trip so much better for us. All the stops we made were sick, the snorkeling was amazing and honestly couldnt have had a better trip. Definitely will recommend to friends and family!Written 21 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andi S3 contributionsThis was our second sunset sail with Captain Mike. My two boys loved it so much. Mike spent time with them showing how the boat worked, let them sail, and engaged in their curiosity. The views were beautiful and Mike is great company. Thank you Captain Mike for a great evening out on the water. We will be in touch next time we are in St John.Written 13 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- F309CJcraigbSt. John10 contributionsI wanted my wife and 9 year old daughter to experience the joy of gliding effortlessly underwater on St. John, US Virgin Islands. Scuba is great (I'm an instructor), but involves a fair amount of training and heavy equipment. With Snuba, you have a regulator in your mouth fed by a hose from the surface. And of course mask and fins. Participants can learn how to do it in 30 minutes of relaxed instruction.
My daughter loved it and cannot stop talking about it, especially the reef squid she saw. The calm, turquoise waters of Trunk Bay, St. John are a perfect venue for a dip underwater.
Instructor Frank Cummings was calm and clear in his teaching and guiding. It's a family-owned business, and the approach is personal. Frank can even take underwater pictures of your adventure.
Someday my daughter and wife may become Scuba divers, but I am sure they will long remember their introduction to breathing underwater, with Snuba!Written 28 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated his expertise and friendliness! Highly recommend especially for the views and getting to hold cool critters from the lagoon. - Sandee F9 contributionsThis tour is well worth it. The kayak was a bit of a workout. The hike was a gentle flat walk (a bit rocky at times). Snorkeling was fun, too. Our teen loved it all

We have been out on several other charters around the New England area, and this was by far the best. You immediately feel welcome the moment you step aboard. The sail was so stunning, and it allowed us to see places you cannot see from land. Shana offered great information and insight about the places we were passing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We plan to do another charter again with them in the near future!Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
