The drive to the Copper Mine provides some great views, and the mine ruins are nice to see. The government has done a nice job of installing markers with a little historical summary.

We stopped here for one night with two boats. It was quite easy to book the slips in advance and the price was very reasonable when compared with other marinas. Unfortunately , we found you get what you pay for. The dockmaster did not answer the radio and shouted at us on docking causing difficult communications. He shouted at our other boat as well and changed the side from starboard to port at the last minute.
Electricity and water were available and there are showers in the new building but due to a pipe burst we were not able to use these.
This is a good base for visiting the Baths which was not possible from the sea due to the large swells.
Most staff were very friendly, polite and helpful so this is a good value stop on your circuit sailing the BVI. Better communication from the dockmaster would have greatly enhanced our experience.

Great views of the islands in the area! This sign has bright artwork on it as of May 2022. Head up the street to Hog Heaven for a beer or drink great burgers, and BBQ items. The view is one of the best you will see in Virgin Gorda where you can see Mosquito Island, Necker Island, Prickly Pear, Saba Rock, Bitterend Yacht club, etc.

We came across these murals during our first day drive to the Baths - it's impossible to miss them as heading south on the one and only road leading to the Devil's Bay National Park you will be seeing them on the left .

W returned another day for a quick stop - there are actually quite many walls here with different types and styles - some are just art, some a tribute... definitely worth a stop especially if you are staying on Virgin Gorda and drive yourself around the island.

TIP: they start around Pablo's Place restaurant and continue for a while if you want the exact map location since there is no actual address here so you can use Pablo's as a reference point on Google maps

As a family of 8 (adult kids plus partners) we had an incredible afternoon diving with Sunchaser Scuba. Ben and Kay did a wonderful job setting us up for the dives, getting us into our gear and into the water. We had two completely new divers with us as well and they went out of their way to make their first dives easy and fun. The wreck of the Rhône did not disappoint, and both Ben and Kay worked hard to point out different fish and parts of the wreck. They are one of the best dive teams/dive masters I have been with and I highly recommend Sunchaser Scuba.

Captain Dave and Double D Charters are great. We have done multiple full day trips with Dave and it has always been one of the highlights of our trips to Virgin Gorda.

Dave is a very knowledgeable guide for snorkeling and also local culture, history, and marine life.

On our most recent trip he even managed to find my daughter’s Apple Watch in 20 feet of water.

I highly recommend Double D Charters, and I know we will be booking an outing with them every time we go back to Virgin Gorda.

Orandae is absolutely awesome! Our family went on a day trip of the North sound area where we snorkeled, wakeboarded/wakesurfed, had lunch and watched the tarpon feeding at rock sound. It was a day full of fun and adventure and Orandae made sure everyone had fun. We also went on a night kayak tour, which was a great experience! It was nice and cool at night and you can see different creatures that don't come out during the day. We saw several baby swordfish and creatures hiding in the reef. If We would have a longer trip, then we would have also tried to plan a day trip to Anegada. We hope to be able to visit Virgin Gorda again and if we do, then we will definitely plan on trying to book some tours with Orandae.
