Beautiful and unique experience. Walking among the boulders at the Baths was amazing. You will get wet up to about your waist sometimes. Swimming to the beach at Jost Van Dyke was fun. Team is very helpful with whatever you need to swim to shore. Recommend using flippers. Very safe. Transportation drinks and snacks are all provided. Staff shared history of the islands. You travel about 70 miles through the Sir Francis Drake channel to Virgin Gorda and then return on the division line of the Atlantic and Caribbean. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. Not crowded at all.

We had the best day on Jost Boat seeing the Bath's and hiking in the British Virgin Islands/ Virgin gorda, snorkeling at Norman island (great fish and jellyfish as well as corals to see and the island which inspired the book "treasure island.")
The crew of three (I only remember one name, Dan), was friendly and helpful throughout the day. If you are on the fence about this excursion, I felt it was well worth it and the most fun day we had on our trip. Book it! The crew and excursion was very kid friendly.
Tips: bring or wear a swimsuit with fast-drying layers. When you hike through the baths it isn't more than knee-deep. Bring a water bottle to take on the hike (they do have them available for purchase on site and do take credit card).
We saw plenty of elderly and infirm individuals not in our party attempting to make the trek with varying degrees of success. It is 1.5 miles round trip for the hike with lots of steep and slippery ascents and descents as well as narrow passages through and underneath rock formations where short and slender individuals will have an advantage. I agree with another user's tip that if your party is athletic/agile, try to politely get toward the front of the line hiking back out of the baths as there are many slippery, narrow paths and the less fit members of the group took extra time getting through which created a bottleneck effect. Everyone made it in time for lunch at the restaurant and the food was delicious, in particular the pulled pork. They did accommodate for food allergies without issue.
The hike and snorkel were great for kids, my 5 and 7 year olds snorkeled for the first time and there was plenty of kid size equipment including life vests on board. Our 3 year old had to be carried for parts of the baths hike to keep up with the group so plan accordingly if you have a baby or toddler. The painkiller drinks on the way back were delicious. Customs process was pretty painless and efficient coming back into the USVIs.
Another tip: the complimentary breakfast did not include any coffee so if you like to caffeinate in the AM make sure you do so prior to boarding or bring along with you.
Another tip: in addition to sunscreen, bring bug spray, the brief wait while loading the group open air taxi from the dock at the British Virgin Islands to the hiking site had some mosquitoes.

We had a wonderful half-day charter with One Caribbean. Jashae, our captain, made the trip extra special with his fun, laid-back style. The boat was beautiful and the spots where Jashae took us had excellent snorkeling. We will definitely book with Jashae and One Caribbean on our next trip to USVI.

The crew was great, boat was fine. Felt like we were just being herded around. Not worth the money, hassle of customs or time for sure.

This was the trip that made my holiday. Ferry from Tortola cruise port for about 35 mins followed by open sided bus for about 10 mins. Then gentle walk to stunning beach, walk through The Baths which are absolutely fabulous and quite unusual followed by another beach where there was a snack bar and toilets. Very difficult to describe these huge boulders the size of houses that you walk through and between but it was just amazing and a must see. We did this as excursion from cruise ship but I’m sure there are other ways to do it too. Recommend booking in advance, wear sea shoes not flip flops and only take bare minimum as you have to wade knee high in water, climb steps etc at times so need to hold bag up. Need to be able bodied and not suitable for pushchairs or babies.

Our experience with Seas the Day and Captain Sammie was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, the day was filled with breathtaking views, fun surprises, seamless organization, and unparalleled hospitality.

Captain Sammie’s expertise and warm personality truly set this trip apart. She made the journey enjoyable by sharing her extensive knowledge about the area, the islands, and the natural wonders along the way. Her insights added so much to our experience and made every moment on the water even more special. And answering many many questions from inquisitive 11- and 18-year-olds!

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the British Virgin Islands and exploring The Baths. This natural wonder is a must-see—absolutely stunning with its unique rock formations, crystal-clear waters, and unforgettable scenery. Sammie handled all the customs arrangements as quickly as possible and efficiently, giving us the maximum amount of time to explore The Baths without any stress. Her planning and advice on navigating the Baths made it so easy for us to relax and take in the beauty of this incredible destination.

The boat itself was pristine, spacious, and perfectly equipped for our group to enjoy the day. Sammie’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for what she does truly made this experience one for the books.

If you're looking for an unforgettable day on the water, filled with adventure, beauty, and impeccable service, Seas the Day and Captain Sammie are the way to go. We can’t wait to return and make more memories!

Thank you for making this an extraordinary day!

This was by far one of the best decisions we made! Our captain, Weezy, was absolutely the best. So laid back, professional, and fun. She kept us entertained yet was open to what we wanted out of our experience. From multiple snorkeling spots to bar hopping and restaurants, we did it all. We had so much fun that we rented the boat again that week (with Weezy at the helm of course) and went to BVI. The waters were a bit rough for snorkeling, so we did a bunch of bar hopping and site seeing. It was such a blast! If you love the ocean, I highly recommend including at least one day of boating on your trip. Easy to book, outstanding service, and an unforgettable trip!

We can't say enough amazing things about Sonic Charters! We've now used them on three separate occasions, and each experience has been nothing short of spectacular.

Our first two trips were catamaran adventures around the breathtaking island of St. John. Both times, the boats were immaculately maintained and incredibly modern, with all the amenities you could possibly need for a day out on the water. The crew was friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took us to the most stunning snorkeling spots and secluded beaches, all while making sure we were comfortable and having a wonderful time.

Most recently, we decided to switch things up and chartered one of their speedboats for a day trip to Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Wow—what an adventure! The boat itself was sleek, fast, and equipped with everything from a shaded seating area to a top-notch sound system. The trip was perfectly organized, and the crew made crossing international waters feel seamless and stress-free. They even helped us navigate the customs process, which was a huge plus.

We’ve been consistently impressed by the level of service Sonic Charters provides. From the initial booking to the moment we stepped off the boat, everything was handled with care and professionalism. It’s clear that this company takes pride in offering an unforgettable experience to their guests.

If you’re considering a day on the water in the USVI or BVI, look no further than Sonic Charters. They’ve truly set the bar high for what a luxury boating experience should be. We can't wait to plan our next adventure with them!
