Went on mangrove kayaking trip today with the lovely Vanessa as our guide. She took us through the mangroves and to a tiny beach to snorkel. Great day kayaking and made extra enjoyable by Vanessa, s intoxicating laugh. Thank you. Highly recommend this activity even if you have never kayaked before.

Stayed at Ti Kaye Resort above the beach. Contacted Island Divers and was able to schedule multiple dives with short notice and there wasn’t any issues. Dive masters were great and knowledgeable of area and dive sites. Did shore dives and boat dives. Would definitely dive with again.

Many thanks to Andre, Collins the speedboat driver, Diego, Zak and all the other guys and girls at Saluna for a great experience with the water sports over the last two weeks - we used paddle boats, kayaks, SUP, Big Mable, waterski lessons, water taxi to Pigeon Island and daily sailing on the Hobie Wave. Friendly service, always with a smile and catering for all levels of ability. Special thanks to David - super helpful with the Hobie and all round good guy, stacked with interesting information. Sorry we didn't get the chance to say goodbye to you all but hope to see you again one day. Recommend 100%!

This was one of the highlights of our vacation! Be aware that the final "road" to get here is a dirt road with lots of rocks and tire-busting potholes (but then much of St. Lucia roads are like that). We managed with our compact car but you have to go SLOW. Paul and Joanne made us feel like family and we appreciated hearing about their history and seeing how they cooked before microwaves and rice pots came to be. All organic produce picked from their garden. I don't normally eat seafood but the fresh tuna was Amazingly delicious. Their property was so peaceful and lovely I could have stayed there all day, just chilling on the tree swing or laying on a lounger listening to the birds and animals all around us. Paul walked to the private beach where the water was like bath water and not a soul around but us. We will be back!

The staff on this boat are very friendly. We walked on and received breakfast (which we were not expecting) and they had the motion sickness pills (which we also were not expecting). It was a beautiful day so the ride to Martinique was perfect. Once we arrived we did a walking tour of the city (which is pretty small and apparently tourism is a new thing so there really wasn't many "tourist" activities) and then we had time to ourselves to discover. It was definitely like being in France. We then went back on the boat, had lunch and then sailed over to a small beach on the other side of Martinique. All in all it was a nice relaxing day trip.

We rode the "Just Tango" catamaran to Soufriere and took a tour from there to the volcano, mud baths, Diamond falls. It was outstanding! The crew were wonderful...explains everything along the way and took wonderful care of us! Really the most fun my husband and i have had in a long time!

This excursion was booked through Carnival Cruise Line.
We were picked up at the dock at St. Lucia and transported to the beach in a comfortable van. The kayaks and equipment were ready and waiting on the beach. A photographer started taking pictures upon our arrival. With sunscreen applied (it's advisable - bring your own) life vests were donned and the kayaks launched. The paddling was easy. A short loop around the end of the beach before heading to across the bay to Pigeon Island (not really an island). The photographer circled constantly, taking photos all the time. He told us that all the photos would be available for free download from the "Adventure Tours" Facebook page. That was the first pleasant bonus that we hadn't expected. Another tour offered similar photo (prints) for $30 each!
Our guide would stop occasionally to allow people to rest and/or catch up. He'd give us some history of the area while waiting. Upon arrival at the beach, a table with cold drinks, fresh fruit and snacks was made available. That was a second pleasant bonus that we hadn't expected. Rest rooms were available as well as outdoor showers to rinse sand or salt off of shoes or skin.
The adventurous members of the group headed up the path to get to the top of the island where a colonial era gun placement once stood. The hike was easy until the very end where it became extremely steep. The final few feet was up a flight of stairs that more closely resembled a ladder. There is a commanding view (and a nice breeze) at the top which made the hike was worthwhile.
After exploring an old powder magazine and taking photos of the surrounding area, we descended back to the beach area below and enjoyed more fruit and snacks. Souvenirs were available for purchase as well, but they weren't pushy about selling stuff to us tourists.
A short walk brought us to another comfy van to bring us back to the pier. As on most island tours, we were dropped off outside the shops and had to walk through them to get back to the ship.
All-in-all, it was an enjoyable adventure and I would recommend it. I would not advise anyone who is not physically fit, to join the hike to the top of the fort, as it was rather demanding near the top.

Our tour with Yo was incredible! He took us to a great spot where we saw beautiful coral reefs, fish, crab, and a bat cave. Being able to look into the water through the clear kayak was a unique experience that we will never forget. One of the best kayaking trips we’ve ever been on. Yo was fun and very accommodating with our schedule. He even allowed us to go a little further down the shoreline than originally planned and was patient when we took time to look into the water, take in all the views, and snap some amazing photos. We will definitely do it again when we make it back to the island!
