The guides, Andrew and his partner, were very attentive and helpful at Blue Hole. They kept us safe. Marian, our transportation specialist, was a wealth of information. We learned a lot. Thank you all.

We booked this trip from Princess Resort. Thought it would be very overpriced since it was booked from a resort but I thought it was a ok price. The transportation was comfortable. Do understand as a tourist in Jamaica they will try to get you to buy regardless but it’s up to you. But I liked that it was forced. They took you to a souvenir shop first and also the prices weren’t bad. Then you got to relax on NegrilBeach. Nice beach no seaweed, soft sand. We then went on the catamaran which was well organized and had an open unlimited bar and great music. Sailed to Rick’s Cafe, which was great. Stayed for 1 hour or so. Sailed back later to Negril Beach, then transferred back to the hotel. The whole thing is definitely a complete day, took 7-8 hours. Great time. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because they said would have food as well on the catamaran but only some chips and also the bus driver was suggesting we tip him. Those was the only two things. Apart from that. This trip is highly recommended.

The catamaran and snorkeling itself was great! However, we were late getting to the boat due to being forgotten by the transport bus to get us there. I had my hotel concierge call them to see what was happening. Everything was held up until we got there and were able to shove off. We didn’t get back to shore until dark which I felt was later than usual due to people getting their full excursion experience! Crew was great about it and the onboard experience was awesome!

We had a great time on this tour. The water was cool and had river was mostly shaded. We were very lucky and it was just the two of us on our trip. Special mention to our young guide Jamaican Superman. He made the trip down the river even more enjoyable and even had us singing. I wasn't too excited about the Bamboo Beach as we were staying at a resort with a good beach. I was wrong. The beach was great and water was very clear. Overall great experience.

We had an excellent time with Captain Jason Morgan. We played in the blue hole and then made our way to Dunn’s falls for some waterfall climbing adventures before a late lunch stop for some local jerk chicken.

We were in Montego Bay and this was the excursion we wanted. We booked through Nexus. There were two options. Either combine with Dunn's River Falls (which fellow travelers absolutely loved the falls) or just go to Nine mile. We opted just nine mile. Pickup at hotel was at 7:30. After pickups, we had 9 people, driver and our guide in a van, which was great for navigating the mountainous narrow road. We had a stop prior to the mountain ride where we had toilet break, able to buy souvenirs (at a discount) or buy refreshments. Following, it was about 90 minutes to two hour ride, depending on traffic to get to the locally called village of Nine Miles. Along the way, interesting tidbits and sights were explained. We arrived. First stop at a vendor where you could obtain various "products!" No one in our group bought. From there you are escorted to a bar where you could buy a "Bob Marley drink" that had a burning shot of rum on top. Marley's concerts were playing on a large screen which was interesting to watch. Then a souvenir shop, then a place to buy a candle to light in his memory which we carried with us to the tour's end. Steep steps were climbed and then it became a bit of a blur as we were escorted through his childhood home where there was so much memorabilia that there wasn't enough time to take it all in. Our Rastafarin guide, Barker, was good, and we enjoyed his commentary. The little church, the smaller home where Marley's single cot remains, to the live music played for us all were memorable. Cadella Marley's hot sauce was purchased where the musicians played. Then the final tree covered pleasant walk to Mt Zion and his meditation rock / "pillow" where he looked upon the valley and drew some of his song inspirations. Expansions, buildings and concrete now cover the once green area where you could feel what it must have been like before all this tourism. In their wisdom, they left an opening where the view of the valley is still seen from the rock. The outdoor kitchen was built where you could partake in some natural tea.
The mausoleum. Removing your shoes, lighting the candle and slowly walking around the crypt, touching the beautiful Italian marble, quietly in your thoughts about this young person who gave so much of himself and his music was indeed worth the tour. If alive, he would have turned 80 two days prior......
We then bid farewell to our Rastafarin host, joined our rep and loaded in the van. We pre-ordered lunch and stopped at a place that served Jerk chicken/ pork or had other options (we think).
The commute had us back at the hotel around 3:30. Yes, the mountain road is narrow, steep and lots of turns but our adept driver gave us no concerns. Worth it.

Blue hole is absolutely gorgeous. Our driver Shane was super nice and knowledgable. Our tour guide Layton was so much fun!! He customized the tour to our level of adventure and took video and photos all the time. They allowed us to go at our pace and spend more time on the spots we enjoyed the most. Totally recommended!!

Our tour guide Copely was wonderful. He was very accommodating. He was also very informative about the island along the trip. He made sure we felt very safe and comfortable.
Negril is beautiful, the beach was very nice and there were plenty of activities to choose from. Just be aware that everyone along the beach will try to sell you something.
The views from Ricks are beautiful, it’s just very crowded. A popular spot for a reason.

Our tour with Tajae was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he made sure we had the best experience exploring Jamaica. We did the Blue Hole Mineral Swim, Negril Rick’s Café, & Herb Farm Combo Tour, and it was everything we could have hoped for—fun, educational, and full of adventure.

Tajae was super knowledgeable and shared so much about the local culture, history, and hidden gems along the way. We got to see breathtaking sights, eat delicious local food, and truly soak in the Jamaican vibes. The hike to the Blue Hole was no joke—it’s a real workout, so be prepared—but totally worth it!

I haven’t been to Jamaica since I was 15 and it has changed and improved a lot! We met with our guide Teroy, I believe, and he was very helpful and made the experience great! The falls was a beautiful place and the water was crystal clear. Probably my most favorite experience during the entire week there! The best thing about it was the fried chicken with rice & peas meal that had a tomato sauce on top. It was amazing!!! Also my favorite meal of the week. I still think about it! Thanks Teroy and the mayfield falls family!
