What travellers are saying
- Julia K6 contributionsThis place is really worth its hefty entrance price when you take the tour. The guiding lady was not only full of great positive energy, she also was really musically gifted, sang the songs, brought the vibe. The grounds of this house are nicely kept and pretty. This sight represents jamaica to us.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- HhoundEast Sussex91 contributionsWe didn’t actually go around the house, we just went to sit in the courtyard and soak up the atmosphere and indulge in a few patties and these patties are the best. I had the fish Pattie - heaven in a pastry case 😍😍.Written 14 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TraveldadLondonLondon140 contributionsWe drive the B1 from Buff Bay (get jerk at Glen’s) to Kingston. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but when the clouds broke the views were amazing. We stopped at Dennis’s coffee farm and had an amazing cup of coffee before another stop at Holywell and Strawberry Hill. The drive to Kingston took about 3hrs including stops. The road is narrow and a few bits are rough but our rental saloon made it fine; just take bumps carefully. We went back on A3 which is easier and about 40mins quicker.Written 2 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julia K6 contributionsThis is a very well kept and groomed park. We spent a good hour here, admiring the nice statues of national heroes. Our visit was worth it.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nick PMaidstone, United Kingdom66 contributionsLocated downtown, near the sea front. Contains a wide range of historic and contemporary art, with exhibits divided into themed areas. The art works are displayed attractively and can be viewed from many angles. At the time of our visit there was an exhibition of art based on experiences of lockdown - very interesting and moving, but only runs until March 2024. Look out for other special events. There's a gift shop if you're thinking about presents or souvenirs.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TraveldadLondonLondon140 contributionsIt is a must for Marley fans. Bob’s guitar and bed and a tour bus. The walking tour led by Blackie was interesting seeing the area where many stars originated and hearing some good stories.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leslie’s Bookcase34 contributionsWe enjoyed seeing the Fort. Our guide was knowledgeable. We were the only ones there. Hopefully others came later in the day!Written 1 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dwain MenzieOld Harbour, Jamaica3 contributionsWalk trough the clouds to get to the waterfall was. An experience I will never forget. Also burnt some calories. There are many birds on the trail especially the Jamaican blue dove.Written 13 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RealTySharpe & Family TravelMoorhead, MN436 contributionsWe tied this into a day trip from Montego Bay and the Bob Marley Museum. Only takes about 1 hour to walk around and you have a tour guide like everything else in Jamaica. Learning the history of Jamaica and how an earthquake took part of the land away but produced more land was fascinating. Cost to enter was $16 and our driver/tour guide got in free. If you are heading to Kingstown its worth some time probably would not make the trip just for the fort. Although this is the only fort on the island that has guides and has been kept upWritten 10 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RDB1 contributionQuestions I wanted answered:
1. Beach is cleaned and maintain. They have no control over sargassum.
2. You can carry your own food. Food is also sold on properly but is expensive.
3. Entrance fees include a lounge chair.
4. Wifi works.
5. Bathrooms are fairly clean.
6. Adequate parking available.Written 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
