This was an amazing day trip! Wear comfortable shoes and your swimsuit! Hoyo Azul is gorgeous and fun! The staff were wonderful and we all laughed and cheered each other on to jump in! Take plenty of cash, as there is an opportunity to buy photo packages that we were not aware of, so missed out, but we had waterproof cell phone cases so we got a few videos and photos.

We did an early morning trip which was great. The group after us was very large and I don’t think the experience would have been as good. Edward was a great guide, very informative!

Have done buggy riding before, I would say this part of it was ok, have done better trips where it is not just through a dirt trail.

The agriculture part with the animals and local crops was very interesting and fun.

Walking through the cave and swimming in the cave area was the best part! It was very refreshing after a lot of walking and being outside.

Escapology was fun as hell. Trying to solve codes, pieces to puzzles, etc……was a bit challenging but fun at the same time. Jonah, our Game Master and Escapologist, was terrific at giving clues, & explaining the escape room at the end. If visiting the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, Escapology is a must!!!

We participated on the Ocean Spa tour. The tour itself was very professionally run by Pedro, our tour guide.

Relative to other tours taken in the DR, this tour one was excellent. Pedro’s attention to client experience really made the difference. Pedro took the time with each client to ensure everyone had a great experience.

The Spa tour was well organized and offered a yoga class, exfoliation, massage, a detox, a swim and a fish pedicure. The tour wasn’t rushed and I highly recommend it.

We have already recommended this tour and will do it it again.

We got picked up from our resort and it was around a 50 minute journey to the ranch.

There was a short safety briefing, one of their staff recommended that we put all our phones into lockers as he alleged the previous week 5 phones were lost in the sea. This is just because of an ulterior motive to sell their own photos at the end of the tour.

As soon as you get to the beach you stop for about 20 minutes for them to take photos but they don't let you off the horse to take your own. There is a leisurely ride along the beach. As you start to reach the half way point the beach and land scape starts to become full of rubbish / pollution. You'd think the hosts would put some of their profit back into the community to tackle this issue.

You stop at a small pond/ lake for 10 minutes where a guy sells coconuts then ride back to their ranch. I noticed as soon as people tried to take photos or videos the staff would make the horses speed up to try and prevent any photo taking.

On the way back the staff made the horse gallop with different people in the group. Other than the staff not wanting you to take photos they were friendly. The horses looked in good health too.

When we got back to the ranch they separated the groups to offer a price for the photos, a fridge magnet and a bottle of local alcohol. The total was $135. We don't drink so didn't want the alcohol and their price for the photos and fridge magnet came down to $80. Don't know how they could justify $55 for a small bottle of alcohol that is only $15 in the hotel shop (this was for two people, prices differed for different groups).

I really enjoyed the horse back experience but would only recommend this trip if you'e never done horse back riding before and are happy to pay an extortionate price for some photos. If it wasn't for that I would probably return in the future.

Would give 3 and a half stars but settled with 4.

The experience was top notch. Felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Not too much pressure to buy extras. Young Boy, our tour guide and Tillo our bus driver were both excellent and really made the experience feel special. We did the zip lines and monkey land and had an awesome experience at both. Worth the price of admission for sure.

Is incredible, tests your senses, knowledge and experiences in a safe environment where you put your mind to the test, your interaction with the people around you, helps you visualize if you are a leader, organized, if you are risky, curious, Dynamic, outgoing ...

Highly recommended for friends and family who want to do something different and healthy

I strongly recommend everyone to take this tour.
It is a full day where you go to multiple beaches and sites (snorkeling is also included) and even though we go to a lot of places, Pedrito and his crew make sure that we spend plenty of time in each place and we were never rushed, I dont know how they do it.
The whole crew was amazing, sweet, well organized and very concearned about everyone's well being.
We were in a smaller group than what you see in most tours, so it was a bit more private, but still a lot of fun aboard!
Thank you Pedrito and crew, you rock!
    Obrigada 😊

Absolutely the best tour possible.Mike personally gives you the tour of Haitian society, a local school, fascinating ancient cave carvings and the usual cigars and chocolate. But the lunch was the best! A local seafood restaurant on the water with incredible seafood at bargain prices!! Lobster for 30 bucks wow!! We will do the same tour again, it was that enjoyable!

The jeep safari was the highlight of our trip to the Dominican Republic. I did a lot of research before booking because I was looking for a unique experience that took us away from touristy areas. I also wanted to pack in as many activities into one tour so that we wouldn’t have to plan multiple excursions. It truly is a private tour experience with no crowds and overcrowded buses. We can’t stop talking about what a great day we had. We started the day at a beautiful beach with amazing views. The photographer with the tour took photos of us on the beach and accompanied us to take photos throughout the day so we didn’t have to worry about having our cameras out while enjoying all of the amazing experiences. Next we were given a keep to drive and we followed our guide through the hills to a small farm. They gave us harnesses and helmets for zip lining. This was our first time going on a zip line and it was a series of 5 lines around the property. Not too scary but perfect for a first timer and would be fine for children. Next we did horseback riding with horses located on the farm. It was about 20 minutes around the property and crossed the river twice. Again, perfect for first timers and people not accustomed to riding horses. We loved the pace and length. Next ,we got back in the jeep to drive to another property. Seeing the small villages, houses and shops along the way gave us a small glimpse at typical life in the D.R. The next property was a farm owned by Christian. Our tour guides educated us about typical plant species found on the island. We got to eat a fresh star fruit, vinegrillo, and pick fresh cinnamon sticks. Next, we had a typical Dominican meal prepared fresh by the women on the farm. The chicken was especially tasty and all was very filling. Then our guides taught us about the process of making coffee and cocoa. We got to taste cocoa beans fresh off the tree- we had no idea they started out in such large pods and were white and slimy. We saw how the coffee and cocoa beans are roasted and then got to grind them. The best part was tasting the finished product. A truly unique and fantastic experience that will stay with us indefinitely. We got to enjoy the coffee and hot chocolate while taking in the amazing views and getting to pet some pigs. The final stop was a cigar factory were we got to roll our own cigars and take them home as a souvenir. There is a shop on site to purchase cigars, coffee, cocoa and other locally made products. I can’t say enough about how excellent our tour guides were and they made sure to answer all of our questions and make sure we got everything we wanted out of the tour. If you come to the D.R. make sure you book a jeep safari with Just safari. You won’t regret it!

This was a quick, drive trip to get away for a few days. I stayed at Riu bambú- a 15 min walk down the beach .
The shop is on the side up from the beach - the shack on the beach is not wear you go .David the dive master was great -nice guy. And Nomar at the desk was very helpfull arranging the multiple dives, and the pick up from my hotel for the transfer across the island. You are Capable of doing four dives in a day. Just be aware January in the ocean has a lot of current and rolling sees. The transfer across the island to see the reef and the wall Dive was definitely a different experience than in Punta Canta. I arranged all my dives and transfers via the main webpage, and got the discounts and communicated with the main office in Spain. Everything went smoothly. As far as that goes I only issue was at both Dive locations this one and the one across the island for the wall dive is at both locations that are rings on the tanks were leaking. I did express my concern about this, and I was assured that they had ordered new O-rings and they just have not received them yet. Overall a great two days worth of diving

Professional team/organization especially John and my instructor Guillemots that I had twice. Spoke good English since I don’t know Spanish enough to communicate.
All my sessions in the pool or open water, were conducted with safety as a priority.
