- Beverley Stambaugh5 contributionsLovely beach, super soft sand, hardly and shells. Great breeze, relaxing in the beach chairs. Waves were pretty big by the time we left - but ohhh the beautiful blue water! So clear - amazing!Written 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- JORGE HERNAN ORTIZ1 contributionThe hotel is truly amazing. But the most outstanding part of our experience at the resort was their customer service. All the personal from the receptionist to the housekeepers were always smiling and happy to assist us.
An special recognition to our butler Mr. Arismendy. He is a real gentleman. Elegant and super warm in his service.
Sincerely,
Jorge OrtizWritten 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jerzy GPattaya, Thailand130 contributionsDolphin Island – the interaction with dolphins was fantastic. Our children have spectacular photos. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is worthwhile to take Royal option with two dolphins .
Besides the dolphin experience itself we had very bad impression. We were picked up by a small van which was about to fall apart. The boat which transported us to the dolphin site was dirty and in bad condition. The dolphin site was dirty and primitive. My wife had to pay 50 dollars!!! just to go with us and watch children with dolphins from 50 m away. This was outrageous. When we tried to talk to them said, that she could not stay at the beach! She either had to pay 50 dollars and would have to go back to hotel.Written 28 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - norwelHumacao, Puerto Rico19 contributionsExcellent family church. - cazcuidiaz8 contributionsThis is about the fifth time I visit Juanillo Beach and the Beach Club. I have to say that I had been sorely disappointed about 4 months ago due to the poor quality of the food. Food was taking very long to be served and they were not using food covers, so the food would get to the guests cold. I am glad to say they have made a big improvement in that respect.
They have also increased the amount of servers available, so it makes it easier to order food and drinks instead of having to chase after them. They still have to work a little on customer service skills of some service staff. I particularly have to say I had a very nice encounter with a server names Castro. He went above and beyond my expectations and delivered stellar service. It was a very refreshing experience that stood out among the lackluster service of others.
They have also kept on improving the lounges and beach beds, which makes for a very pleasant time just as it was many years ago.Written 14 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lacy KLumberton, MS6 contributionsThis is a must see place if you rent a car or would like to see amazing lagoons. Tickets to get on to the property is $50US/pp. This includes access to the lagoons and Blanca beach. There are several Lagoons that are crystal clear and you have the ability to swim in. We seen turtles, hermit crabs, and different types of lizards along our hike around the area. We enjoyed the coral lined pathways, no getting lost. The walk doesn’t take long to get around the whole circle and is an easy walk. About 2-3 hour event (taking short breaks to swim).Written 26 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Anick B3 contributionsThe waves are strong but once you pass the place where they break out you can just lie on top of the waves and let yourself go for hours.Written 7 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- norwelHumacao, Puerto Rico19 contributionsExcellent place, beautiful beach with a nice restaurant where you can rent a tent as well. Only Spanish speeking personnel. The road to the beach is a challenge. It's reached best with an off road vehicle. However we've made it with a small rental carWritten 24 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ez GSanto Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic3 contributionsWe visited manatí park yesterday. Our tour guide was a very pleasant young lady named Shakira. She was very sweet and patient with my daughter who, by the way, fell in love with her.Written 26 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mariacata23West New York, NJ12 contributionsWhile the experience was pricey it was very cool. Loved being able to see the dolphins first hand. While the pictures were expensive they are worth getting given this is a once in a lifetime experience. My only request is that this facility only offer the explorer option where you just touch and meet the dolphins vs the swimming options which is more having dolphins pull you on their fins around or push you on a boogie board. I feel it was wearing out the skin on their beaks/mouths. Also I am suspicious as we supposedly had GOYA the dolphin who was a boy. The instructor had called him by a different name at first. Then later on I come to find out that Goya is supposed to be a girl. So they are just using any old dolphins and assigning them the names of their main “characters”. Wonder what happened to the real Goya who is a female not the male we swam with.
Ultimately the explorer package is the most humane. Hope these dolphins are happy and well cared for. They seemed ok other than the scraping off of the beaks.Written 4 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Riette03Tempe, AZ6 contributionsWonderful experience!! Very hands on, but the photos were very much over priced. It gave me a bad taste. Either way it’s an amazing experience that I highly recommend!! The staff was wonderful with the animals and guests!!Written 8 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

We found this great place that was kind of off the beaten path. They had cold Presidente and different stuff than what we had found in the other gift shopsWritten 7 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- John PClinton, WA146 contributionsStaying at Ancora Cap Cana on the water of the Marina. Beautiful facilities. Be sure to walk out to the entry into the marina for a great drink at the beach bar on the north side of the entry.
Actually saw manatees swimming in the entrance.Written 24 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - jose sBogota, Colombia167 contributionsAlgunas tiendas buenas con buenos precios. Otras muy costosas y mala atención o cerradas. Buen sitio para artesanias de calidad. Most of the Shops were very nice specially the handycrafts.
BUT the transportation service from the hotel is EXTREMELY expensive. No wonder people prefer not to get out of the hotel.
I belive if the Dominicans REALLY want to compete against other turistic destinations, they have to take control over this issue.
IMPERATIVO que los dominicanos solucionen el tema de transporte para los turistas. Básicamente cobran segun la cara. Ningun orden, poco servicioWritten 19 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
