We loved this trip. It was an all day adventure that allowed us to see the beauty of the DR beyond our resort. The guide was fantastic (his multi lingual skills were really impressive!). And the photographer was a great personality to have onboard.

We went from the mountain, to the ranch, to the mangroves out into the ocean. It well coordinated, felt like we had the right amount of time everywhere and also really informative about the country and culture.

    Highly recommend!

This was by far one of the best excursions that I’ve ever done! It was educational, fun and absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We had a cultural tour, a delicious steak lunch, trip to a fresh water lagoon and a trip on the ocean to a beautiful sand bar. I really cannot recommend this excursion enough! We will never forget this gorgeous day! Our tour guide, Jesus was wonderful! The transportation service was on time and excellent. Absolute perfection from start to finish.

This was a long day traveling by bus, boat, jeep, horseback and by foot.

It was really nice to get out and see the beautiful island.

    Pros: gorgeous waterfall, delicious lunch

Cons: the buffet is set up next to where the horses come in and for some the stench of horse poop could ruin your appetite.
The horses are small and ran like a factory. As a rider you are set up with a “guide “ that pulls the horse through a foot of sloppy mess that is lined with huge rocks. There are hills and the poor horses try their best to navigate through it but it’s a disaster waiting to happen. The saddle is small and there isn’t much to hang onto so if your horse goes down so are you.
The “walk” down to the waterfall is slippery and treacherous. Wear good shoes and take your time. Once at the waterfall make sure to jump in and cool off. It’s stunning and will refresh you before you have to make the even more treacherous journey back up the hill and steps.

Glad I did it once but it’s not for the weak hearted or people who can’t walk that well or have major health issues.

Punta Cana to Santo Domingo day trip it was awesome if you go to DR you definitely
have to do it if you are the type of person that likes to get to know the culture and the history you will definitely enjoy this excursion. Our tour guy Ricardo was great by showing and informing us everything we needed to know. It’s a long day but fun. Try to do it on week days so you can get smaller group like our group we’re only 6.
But I would totally recommend this trip.
Here are some pictures that I capture while I was there. DR you have a piece of my heart!🇩🇴❤️🌴

My husband and I received a couples massage under the moon in the beach! Absolutely recommend! It was a lot of wind in the beach making it a little breezy than normal, but everything was wonderful. My husband and I felt amazing after the massage and definitely will be returning. Thank you for taking great care of us!

This was my first time in Punta Cana and a great way to see the beautiful country and culture But it is a long day as described. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend if you are active and interested in learning about another's culture from locals. I didn't give it five stars because breakfast was promised and not delivered and so was beer on the boat but honestly it still was a highlight of my trip for sure! Also since I was staying at an all-inclusive drinking didn't bother me at all and I was able to get a pineapple drink after my hike for five US dollars That was really great and included fresh pineapple to munch on.

Our tour guide Tomas who took us from our hotel to the dock has been running a little late but It didn't bother me and he was so engaging and giving us history about the Dominican Republic and sharing information about what it's like to live there now. Pedro, Our tour guide for the rest of the trip was it very friendly and knowledgeable and can speak five different languages with such ease and charisma It's so fun to watch. He really wanted to make our stay above and beyond and even brought a speaker for the boat ride and played love songs for my boyfriend and I which was very sweet as we drove to the island. Other couples brought their own drinks to have on the island which was smart but we thought things were included so we didn't and honestly after that grueling but wonderful hike I don't think I could drink.

I thought the Dominican lunch was really yummy and coffee was fantastic! The horseback riding was super fun and even though this was my first time horseback riding I felt super safe and also exhilarated as the guy would help me go faster if I wanted on the long paths. The waterfall is absolutely spectacular and worth it to bring a GoPro if you have one or just take pics on your cell phone your guides would love to take your pictures just be sure to tip them. There was even another guide who came with a parrot which was really fun! Included in the trip is also a stop by a cigar factory where you can learn how they're made and even get one for free. I'm not a cigar smoker but I did try the chocolate favored one I gave the rest of my boyfriend and he seemed to enjoy it.

My recommendations would be to keep an open mind, bring drinks if you want to have them, pack snacks if you can, and make sure your dinner reservations are late around 9:00 or so just to be safe as others missed there dinner reservations because our trip ran late. I still think it was a great price for all that we did and saw! Thank you so much for putting them together this unforgettable trip!

We booked the excursion of Monkeyland and buggies, both were very exciting, and lots of fun, the guides at Monkeyland were very knowledgeable about the squirrel monkeys, our whole group had an opportunity to feed the monkeys and once they put the food in your individual feed bowls the monkeys would leap onto of you and climb all over you, I was surprised on how soft their feet were on you no sharp claws, this was the best excursion I have even taken in the Dominican, well worth it, then it was off to the buggies, this was also amazing, after riding the buggies through the jungle and several mud pits we washed off at a beautiful water fall and pool area. The tour guide was amazing as well shout out to PJ and his team.

Darius is a quick-witted and hilarious tour guide who helped us through the city. They were fast, efficient and didn't allow any wasted time, however they gave us time to relax and get food too.

I’ve been on many excursions all over the world and this one was the best by far. Mr. Osvaldo was the best tour guide showed and explained things thoroughly. The driver was outstanding and safe. Amazing experience, great food and excellent price. Worth the money

We had a great time on the cruise to Saona Island. While we did have our young boys with us it's probably a trip more suited for adults than kids, although our kids did have a lot of fun. The staff was super friendly and was always making sure you were enjoying yourself. If your main focus is snorkeling you probably want to look at other cruises, but if your main focus is having a good time with music, boats, and rum then I would highly recommend.
