    Beautifully awesome experience, with few dislikes
    There was a few things we didn’t like but overall a great experience, would recommend. The speedboat ride was fun, the natural pool, the whole island and beach were beautiful, lunch was good, and the catamaran was relaxing and fun. The piña colada on the island was delicious!
    Now the dislikes..our transfer driver didn’t speak much english, and he was vaping. Definitely did not like the pushy people trying to sell us things (cigars, jewelry, and massages) on the beach; I think they should be able to walk around saying what they offer and we will call you over if we want but don’t continuously bother us.

    Pleasantly surprised. A MUST do if you’re not staying in Santo Domingo!

    - Packed itinerary with great historical and cultural sights

    Would give 5 stars if there was a bit more time to stop off at certain scenic points as 5 minutes was too short

    Review of: Full-Day Excursion in Saona Island
    Fun!
    Tons of fun at the natural swimming pool, and beach. You don’t get a ton of time on the beach we had about 2 hours 15 min. Crew and staff were very nice! One downfall was the amount of time turned out to be a 13 hour day with transportation for only 2 hours at the beach.

    Nice, safe and hisoical
    Even though I have been to DR many times this was my husbands first time to Santo Domingo, the Runners Adventures tour was Great! Our tour guide Dario was very knowledgeable about the history of the island as well as some fun facts. Enrique the driver got us there safely. Highly recommend going with Dario & Emrique for a nice, interesting, fun day.

    Best Party of our trip
    Went for my friend's Bachelorette and it was a great night! The host was super sweet, the djs music was LIT (probably even better than the clubs) the drinks kept flowing and the security kept us extremely safe and even escorted us ladies to the bathroom every single time. Highly recommend!

    Review of: Redonda Mountain & Macao Beach - Half Day trip
    Best Varied Full Day Trip
    I am in treatment for cancer and medication causes a lot of swelling. However, this has been the best tour of my life so far. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations from the point of pick up by Robinson; the journey; and the return. Not only it is a full day trip with stops at Montaña Redonda, a cigar factory, a cacao & coffee vintage home, and the horseback riding in Macao beach, but you get to cross multiple interesting towns and sightings along the way for a valuable fair cost. Every detail is quality, including the lunch and additional courtesies. Robinson truly cares about the tourist experience beyond the job and will patiently treat you V.I.P. style with his kindness, great humor and fantastic music road-trip. This is not a fast forward generic tour, this is the best culturally immersed tour you can do in a limited vacation time. Thanks Robinson, you bettered our trip.

    Interesting
    Interesting tour.

    This is a long tour with several stops. It was good for the price we paid. I enjoyed all the activities we did. The beach at the end was amazing. It is beautiful and I wish we had spent more time there.

    The only thing that gives me pause is the horse back riding. The horses we rode were very thin and did not appear to be well cared for. My horse seemed to be convulsing on the tour. It was an unpleasant experience.

    I would recommend this tour though. It’s a great way to get a feel of the local area in a few hours.

    Review of: Buggies Extreme and Cenote Cave Adventure Half Day
    Too rushed
    The buggies were fun but there is limited time as they cram 3 stops in 2.5 hours so everything was rushed.

    First stop was to see how they make Coffee, Chocolate and Mama Juana but really it is an opportunity to get you to spend money.

    Second stop was Macao beach which is absolutely sunning! Unfortunately there is 5 minutes of swimming and rush rush back to the buggies although not too fussed as there were lots of pestering about buying food, drink and souvenirs there.

    Last stop was the caves which again was pretty but we were not able to go in as there was no advise on suitable footwear as you need footwear that will allow you to climb out.

    Lots of waiting around at the beginning of the trip and lots of confusion for us as most communication was in Spanish until they divided us into groups.

    Transport took almost an hour and half to get there so bit of a long winded day.

    Review of: Los Haitises National Park with Montana Redonda, River and Lunch from Punta Cana
    Best day trip!
    Highly recommend trip! Get to see some of the stunning Dominican countryside and culture. Joel was a great tour guide kept everyone informed and kept everyone entertained on the journeys in between on the coach. We were lucky enough to have the owner show us around the plantation, he it was lovely to see someone so passionate about what that do! The buffet was amazing and getting to try the cocoa in different stages along with some fresh coconut bread. The waterfall to cool off was nice especially as it very hot when we went. The national park has some amazing scenery and bird life! Definitely 10/10

    Review of: Two Adventures: Caribbean Dunne Buggies plus Caribbean Party Boat and snorkeling
    Multiple sights seen/sometimes rushed excursion! Still recommend with everything you will do!
    This was a GREAT group excursion!! My husband and I chose this as a group excursion for our wedding and we did SO much in a day it felt like a 72hr excursion! I will say, the first adventure (buggies) included driving the buggies around to the beach with GIANT waves, then to a typical house which had chocolate/green tea/ and mamajuana tasting, then swimming in a cave, and then driving back to leave the buggies. During the first adventure, it was veeeery rushed. For instance when we got to the first beach, we were told to swim for 20 minutes to then head to the house (roughly 35 min there), and cave swimming (20min) but you did drive your own buggy the entire time. The second adventure included getting on a party boat that included snorkeling (20 min) then driving to a “natural pool” where we swam, drank the included rum and coke/beer, and even sliding down the boat slide. We were confused on the second adventure because we were told we were getting dropped at our hotel and being picked up by a different driver. We were dropped off at our lobby and our driver for the boat party was already there! So definitely check for pick up times for BOTH adventures and let them know your ETA. Even though the first part was rushed, we did a lot for one day and having a big group definitely makes it even more fun! Definitely an excursion for “half glass full” individuals 😆

    Awesome excursion
    ¡Tao es el mejor! He was extremely friendly and kind. We enjoyed talking with him. He’s was a safe driver. The mountain was absolutely gorgeous! I wish we could have stayed at playa Esmeralda rather than gone to playa Macao as playa Esmeralda was far more beautiful. Overall it was an excellent excursion and we would do it again!

    DANGEROUS AND FALSE
    the tour operator offer to pick me up from the hotel and at the last minute send an email informing me that I had to take a taxi (which is not safe) and go to a diferent location that with traffic would take up to 1.5 hours to get there, the price of the taxi was half of the price I paid for the entire tour, and on my way back I was suppose to be doing the same thing at night

    Nice Tour
    Good guided tour, Agustin was an excellent guide, it was a shame that we weren't able to enter to the museums due the COVID but anyways we enjoyed the tour with this company, safe travel, good food and nice city walk.

    The only reason to have 4 stars is because we didn't stop to walk in Columbus mausoleum, I know that is closed but anyhow we can stopped to take some pictures.
