- Darren ABourton-on-the-Water, UK5 contributionsWow, what a place. We were a party of four. Purchased tickets thru Trip Advisor saving on the tour operators mark up. Good communication with pick up time confirmed by Email. Chose the Skip the Line option, (Its a no brainer). The line when we arrived was massive. Arrived and was swiftly given wrist bands and ushered in. Entered what I can only describe as an arena of sound & warm up dancers on stage. Be under no illusion this is a nightclub with fantastic productions in between. However, when we arrived we were immediately targeted for better seating. This did dampen our spirits. If you have general admission you're in the the main dance area with NO OPTION FOR SEATING all night. For a table upgrade we paid an extra $284.00 including a bottle of spirit and mixers. By the time you take into account your general admission ticket you may have well purchased a Gold Membership Ticket. That said, after the exchange rate conversion, we didn't pay over the odds. Having settled into our new spot above the dance floor, we immediately got into the vibe. Great sound, fantastic light shows, amazing performers and acrobats. On par with Cirque Dr Solei. Non stop entertainment, with an Ibiza vibe at the end. Certainly highlight of the holiday. But would have preferred a email offer to upgrade before arriving. - Jeanne R2 contributionsJust got back from snorkeling with Wilken, Ricardo, Darwing and Lizanger. We were looking for a day trip with some nature and snorkeling with the family. The boat and bathroom were clean. They were clearly on top of safety for the group while snorkeling amongst some of the most amazing fish we have ever seen. The lunch was delicious and we even stopped at a national park along the way. - MB travel ladyNew Jersey24 contributionsThis was such a fun adventure. I wish the description would've let us know to have a bandana to cover our face and eye covering and closed toe shoes that you don't mind getting very muddy. It would've saved some $$ instead of buying them there.
You do get very muddy, but that was part of the fun. Also bring or wear your swim suit, because you have an opportunity to go swimming at a beautiful beach.
The jeeps did stall often (perhaps operator error) but there was always someone following or nearby to get you started again. The team was very nice and it was a great, safe way to see some of the beautiful Dominican countryside.
I purchased the photo package (we had 10 people with us) and we had a dedicated photographer that captured great shots of our group. I felt it was very reasonable, and was able to share all of the photos with everyone in the group.
They also offered a "private" tour, but we didn't purchase that, and it was fine just going along with the group.
Of course at each of the stops there were vendors selling their wares, so you could spend some money there. At the beach stop we purchased the fried calamari and the garlic shrimp mofongo, and it was absolutely amazing!
