When planning our trip to Punta Cana one thing on our bucket list was for an authentic cooking class for our family to enjoy and Taino Cooking Lab, Francesca and the entire staff were so enjoyable, patient, and fun that we definitely will book again with them when we return! We had so much fun cooking our octopus and eating them.
We started the night by Francesca introducing herself and the staff and getting us drinks. She then proceeded to tell us some history of the cocao and the process they use in the Dominican to make all the different items with a very abundant product that is grown local. Our boys loved hearing all about it and we did also.
The shrimp appetizer we created was delicious and we were taught a little about presentation but is was sooooo good I wanted more. We chopped, boiled, mixed and stirred our entire meal and enjoyed every minute of our experiences.
So you know, our boys are 15,14 & 12. For our experience it was the perfect class for us.
We highly recommend Francesca, Taino staff and food lab for all!
