It takes about 30min to walk from one end to the other. It’s a great spot to stay at one of the many hotels. We stayed at the Dover Beach Hotel 4*, which is at one end of the gap. In the middle are other loungers etc. Good choice of food and beach goods just behind the beach. Sand is white and fine and the sea is clear and calm. It's close to the airport, you can take a bus to Oistins Fish Fry on Friday for 3.50USD or take it in the other direction to go downtown Bridgetown to go shopping or to the Marina for some water tours.
ST. Lawrence Gap is only a few minutes away, and all the beach bars, restaurants, mini and supermarkets, duty free store, etc, are all within walking distance or a short bus ride away.
