- MaryTravels8 contributionsMount Irvine Bay is known for its great surf and beautiful beach. The relaxed vibe and stunning sunsets we saw make it a perfect spot for a laid-back day by the sea. We loved the snorkeling on the left hand side of the bay and Anchor Bar and Grill on the right.Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KiminGranCouvaSan Fernando, Trinidad436 contributionsThe only reason why i didn't give a 5 star review is that there is no guided tour or brochure explaining about the artist of the collection. But that aside this is an very high quality display of mainly sculpture done by Kimme and housed in an eclectic building in Mt Irvin Tobago. Most of the pieces are life sized wooden or bronze, and of performers, mainly men, but they are beautifully done with detailed faces and full of motion. It is a hidden gem that really has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. There is an artist in residence doing his own thing who admits visitors to the house and there are some magazines on site and a book full of photos and info on the most famous pieces. The draw back though is that there is no guide to the collection. However the collection extends over 4 rooms in a converted house do it's not difficult to see it all on your own in less than an hour.Written 12 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KizzyKingtrinidad30 contributionsThe water there is very nice. However I have seen it become rough. The sea floor is undulating because of the swash of the water. It is popular. However there were no life guards.Written 23 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- TMJ ABeaufort, SC4 contributionsMy husband is disabled (quadriplegic,) Nigel helped him on and off the boat, and was very helpful! He also took my grandson snorkeling, taught him what to do, and was very patient and attentive to him. We enjoyed our coastal tour very much, especially the historical sites and the black lagoon. Nigel you are too sweet, what a blessing you were to us. Thank you for an awesome day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Those mangoes were delicious. Bless you.Written 14 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
