The activity provides beautiful falls hues and the pull outs provide stunning views of the prairies filled with antelope and elk, as well as the magnificent views of the Grand Tetons.
It's only a few miles to savor, and weather at the top may be completely different than the weather at the bottom, but this is an excellent drive for black bear, grouse, mule deer, and breathtaking views!

Views are incredible with the mountains as a great backdrop for amazing pictures.
A very beautiful spot to view the teton mountains.We had put together a puzzle of this spot 25 years ago and to see it in real life was amazing!

The only thing that could make visiting the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone is connecting them with a road that offers spectacular views of mountains, water, forest and fields.
5/12/2017; great road to view wildlife and yes there was a fire in 2016 that burn a lot of acres of trees.

Traveling through this road give you the opportunity to see and stop at many places and have great views of the mountains and lakes.
And there are always people at the first overlook with spotting scopes that will gladly share a view .

If it was stormy the afternoon and evening before, or it is really humid, the morning may also make for incredible views because of low clouds and fog.
The trees obscure a bit more of the river view but it is still easy to understand why the imagery inspired the park's formation.
