Cab guy in Sikkim wasn't efficient enough. No guidance from him on what time to start and what places to see. Even for stopping in a on-route place which is not in itinerary he charges you. Plus he doesn't cover all the places in itinerary. He doesnt discounts for that. Very unprofessional driver and even on complaining to 99 taxi no action was taken. Disappointed in their service.

- Adventure498222654117 contributionsI recently booked a 6 Days, 5 Nights Darjeeling trip with Darjeeling Travels, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Right from the start, their team was super helpful and made sure everything was well-organized.
The itinerary was perfect! It included all the popular spots like Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, and Mall Road, but they also gave us enough free time to relax and explore on our own. It felt like the perfect balance between sightseeing and leisure.
The travel arrangements were spot-on. The car was clean and comfortable, and our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He even shared some great tips for local food and shopping! The hotels they booked for us were cozy, clean, and offered beautiful views – waking up to the Himalayas was magical.
What I loved most was how approachable and responsive the team was. Anytime we had a question or needed help, they were just a call away. They genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time.
If you’re planning a trip to Darjeeling, I highly recommend Darjeeling Travels. They made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The staff led by Ms. Shirine and Mr. Arjun is amazing. They take good care of you right from the moment you reach their counter. The ground service is superior to first class in a scheduled airline.
The helicopter though a bit old is a safe twin engine Russian import (to me it looks may be around 40 - 50 years old, but cannot be sure), but it appears to have been maintained very well and is operated by a private company. It has about 26 seats. Don't expect an airline legroom.
The flight was very smooth and crew onboard the helicopter was also very friendly.
