The guide was very attentive, taking pictures for me and providing me with cover-ups for the temples. She was also very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions about the history and culture of Thailand. The Big Budda is closed until further notice due to a mudslide but we were taken to places where we could see it from a distance. The big buddha and views are great, complimentary water and wipes prpvided (for the dust!). My husband was so excited when I brought him to the nut factory, and I can tell he liked the upside down house. I was able to go to the mall and buy a quick gift for myself, go to Mua Doo Restaurant for food and pics, as well as Tiger Kingdom, and a few other stops along the day. We enjoyed exploring the town of Phuket in the privacy of a private vehicle with a driver that was friendly, informative, patient, and enjoyable to be around. - Vicki75 contributionsExcellent tour from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, polite and chatty throughout. The tour was well organised and we loved seeing the different sights across the island of Phuket. Our highlight was Chalong. The temples was stunning and it was so interesting to hear about the foundations and philosophy of Buddhism. We were taken for lunch in Phuket old town which was very enjoyable before a tour of the main streets and buildings. Overall it was a great tour and we got some great photos of the three of us as cherished memories. Mr. Alex’s local knowledge was delightful and entertaining. We met the monkeys who were cute and entertaining instead of seeing the Big Buddha due to the landslide. - aliahmad198777 contributionsGreat intinary and mix of activities to do in a day! Loved walking through Phuket old town and seeing all the colors and shops before trying some local food and drinks.
Went on from there to a more cultural part with the elephant tour and sights. Ended the day with a spectacular view from Windmill viewpoint.

The early start makes this visit so perfect because you beat the heat and you avoid the throngs of tourists arriving as many many tour busses show up just as you’re leaving.
