Cool concept of adaptive reuse to a new purpose. I visited on a Sunday midday and a free outdoor music performance looked to be starting about 2 pm. I was expecting more working artist studios and their words for sale. Instead, it was tourist shops and nicer souvenirs. About 6-8 different places to eat and snack.

This night market is distinctly different from the rest as the bulk of it is centred on food. There are streets upon streets of food vendors and eateries that dot the area. Apart from that the shopping is quite disappointing z

This was a great place to check out local products, fruits, and vegetables from local farmers. We enjoyed the fresh sugarcane juice and snacks. The market is very clean and most stalls are located under the roof so no issues with rain

This is one of the places you can visit when it's raining at Taipei. Can spend maybe an hour or two before heading to the nearby creative park.

This market would be great for women looking for cheap clothes. But for me looking for a tshirt nothing. There was another lane with food and meat.

We went here before the Lunar New Year for one hour. Very crowded with abundant food shops including ready- to-eat main dishes, side dishes, candies, dry foods, snacks, buns, savory meat ,fish snacks, hams, Taiwanese sausages, fresh produce and seafood... and more . It’s all cash transactions here and we bargained a little bit on what we bought. Come visit during holidays to experience the festival ambiance.

Its a buffet of toys for the big boys. Each floor caters to a different trade or field. One floor caters to computers, another to small portable sound systems. Another floor caters to Photography. There's even a vinyl / record bar in one of the floors. Its very organized than other computer/ gadget malls. There are anime/ model cars/ Kyosho and Tamiya model kits in another floor. In another floor they sell speakers, headphones, blue tooth speakers. In another there are drones, sporting goods, believe me its a toys for the big boys mall.

as a bonus the mall beside it is GuangHua digital Plaza and the streets surrounding these two buildings are littered with stand alone computer stores which sell almost every computer accessory and peripheral money can buy.

We loved wandering this active, busy market. Lots of interesting things for sale, fresh produce, meat, household items, clothing etc. The location is very close to the Dongmen MRT Station. Sellers were friendly and prices reasonable. We like it much better than shopping in a supermarket or department store.

This is a typical locals shopping street with many food stalls and shops. Streets like this exist all over Taipei and probably one right near your hotel, so no need to go shlepping to see this particular one.

This night market was not too big but there were many food stalls and restaurants. Crowded with people. Prices were reasonable.

Taipei Station is the central terminus for several train-based services serving the city and the whole of the country. Servicing the numerous pasengers and visitors that pass through the station requires a mall, and Breeze fills that role. Spanning several floors from the underground portion (where the rail lines run) to a floor above the expansive main atrium, it's a convenient place to try out some local and international fare before or after a trip, or simply because you're there. We had other priorities but did at least have a chance to eat at the food court where our favourite experience were the local cold and hot local desserts.
