Everything was great! My husband and I both really enjoyed everything. The cenotes were wild to see in real life and it was so fun to be up close and personal with turtles.

Bring your own gear if you can! Once you check in for the ATV, zip line, cenote experience EVERYTHING is an immediate upsell. Do you want to go to a public cenote or more private with less people? If you say yes you also get a better lunch along with a tequila tasting - we are glad we did this for an extra $55 per person. Bring cash or use PayPal. Credit cards you are charged an extra 8%. The ATV was our least favorite activity and would NOT recommend. The only gear supplied to you is a helmet and you also need goggles and a scarf for your face. They have a store for you to buy these in for an unreasonable amount of money! A $2 scarf is $12! Silly! Goggles $29. There is a dirt road maybe 2 miles long that you ride up and down for 30 minutes and that’s it. Nothing to see or do, just riding single file back and forth. I am not exaggerating. Zipline was a fun little course, nothing crazy. We had a good time doing that. Cenote, tequila and lunch was our favorite - this part we would do over and over again. Lalo was our guide and he was so much fun, thank you Lalo!
The most important thing I would want people to know is that the staff (and there is a lot of staff here!) was all very professional and super super friendly! If you want to save yourself some money bring goggles and a scarf for your face for the ATV ride but if you can skip the ATV portion I would.

We hired a taxi driver for the day for $100 + entrance fees and he brought us to wherever we wanted to go. We wanted to do this excursion and he suggested that we do this one first before it got really busy. Cost us $66 for 2 ppl to do this excursion. It was a lot of fun as our young guide led us out into the ocean to snorkel and observe the big sea turtles as they ate and then would come up for air. We saw around 5 or 6 sea turtles and 4 sting rays on our swim. There were a few fish to see as we snorkeled but not that many as there wasn't a reef where we were swimming. I would recommend doing this excursion if you are near Akumal.

Easy, smooth travel back to the Cancun airport. Our driver Alfredo was prompt and great to talk to on our trip to the airport! Vehicle was comfortable and air conditioned. I will definitely use this car service when I come back!

Went on this tour solo as I am 64 years old and my wife was not up for the zip lining. I had never zip lined before and thought it would be fun. The tour was affordable, 1/2 a day long and was great. The zip lining was really fun and exciting. The ATV riding was also quite a lot of fun, jumping 20’ down into the first Cenote was cool as heck, you can also walk down to the water if a 20’ plung is not your choice. The second Cenote you walk down into, there is a zip line you can ride into the water or just walk into. Very fun, I would tell anyone to do this. The Taco lunch at the end was also very tasty

We did the Coba Express half day tour. Ana was our tour guide. She’s sooooo amazing and made this experience worth it! Her passion and knowledge of Coba, Mayan culture, and the ecosystem keeps you engaged the whole time. She was bubbly and fun to be around. Our driver Jose kept us safe and drove very efficiently. The tour itself is great. You get to learn about everything and get
Some free time to explore and talk to the locals. Even though this half day tour didn’t include lunch, our guide and driver kept us well hydrated and had plenty of snacks. It was a great experience that I recommend everyone go to.

For some reason the trip itself is not on trip advisor but you can book on their website or amstar like we did.

    Thank you Ana and Jose!!!

The visit was so fabulous and interesting. We learnt so much!! Joanna is a great guide: very kind, smart and thoughtful. She loves her job and we can see it. Please do this visit if you want to know more on Mayas. El Merci is very close to Cancun: no need hours of transportation from hotel!

The ceremony was not only a cool cultural experience but was really cathartic. When you are in the temazcal its pitch black and they have everyone scream at the top of their lungs to get all the negeativity and stress out! Where in our daily lives can you just scream?? It felt great!

The cenote is so beyond gorgeous.

    The guides were great.

The dinner is very simple which of course is totally fine but there were so many bones and little bit in the chicken i just couldnt keep eating.

Very long commute to get there.

    Overall great experience!
