- bearcat98pune71 contributionsTemple is situated in think deodhar trees and the surronding's are extremely beautiful. The climate is lot cooler because of trees and scenic beauty is outstanding. The temples itself are very old and architecture is different . a must place to visit when you visit kausani.Written 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 982pradipbNavi Mumbai, India409 contributionsThe location at the hilltop is superb , offering an 180 degree view of the Himalayan Peaks . We found it closed and probably under maintenance. It is about a km from the main town and lies secluded from the crowd . There is a small Chai Shop at the parking , offering chai/ coffee and other snacks . As we couldn't get inside can't talk about much the museum .Written 7 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- bearcat98pune71 contributionsThe way to the temple is though a forest trek and it takes 40 -45 mins though leisurely walk to reach there. For senior citizens and very small children it will be difficult since the path has ups and downs and is slippery so would not recommend it. The beauty of temple is the path to it. The temple itself is small and during non-rainy season the waterfall is just a very small stream and not much of a fall so do not expect much once you reach thereWritten 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ritu LahreBellary District, India3 contributionsPindari trekk is moderate difficult trek. People who has no habit of running or walking can also trek here. Lots of resting huts are made by govt. and there are may water sources for drinking during trek. also at many stoppage there are little shop for maggie, chips, chai or coffee.
Other important point is - It was a great experiance. Climbing to the top at Zero Point Pindari is zo beautiful, refreshing.
This trip can be plan for School going student trek, adults in friends group or alduts with family, couple can also plan those who like adventurs. A pet Dog can also be taken there if that doest not have problem with cold.
btw, I planned on my first year marriage anniversary.
It was- "Summer ki anniversary me snow ka maza.."Written 25 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Renuka GargNew Delhi, India250 contributionsA conveniently located and well organised observatory. We booked the 1730 slot and were able to not only see the moonrise from the rooftop but also saw the planets Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus, apart from some constellations and star clusters. The host is very passionate, knowledgable and kind. Definitely worth a visit when at Kausani.Written 25 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Manohar Singh NagarkotiSalmiya, Kuwait234 contributionsThe temple have a great value and belief of people. It is dedicated to Hindu goddess. It is said Adi guru shankracharya stayed here. Temple is very peaceful and clean. Every year nanda devi raj jat yatra procession happens here. It is situated in Garur region of Bageshwar district.Written 3 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MadMaxIndiaGuwahati, India800 contributionsIt is an ancient Shiva Temple and the town of Bageshwar where it is situated has been derived from this form of Lord Shiva. It is situated exactly at the confluence of the Sarayu and Gomti rivers. The difference in colour of the waters of the rivers is a sight to watch, turquoise green for Sarayu and dirty green for Gomti.
Adjoining the temple complex is a cremation site.
The age old temple is accessible from the main road through a narrow lane adorned with shops selling fares for the Puja as well as last rites. The area can be easily confused with a market in its own right as shops of various interest share the space ranging from Grocery, Stationary, Woollen Garments, Gift Shop, large Pan (betelnut) shop, eateries etc.
I visited the temple on my way to Chaukori from Kausani via Baijnath this october. It is situated 21 km from Baijnath Temple on the Garur-Bageshwar Road.Written 13 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Renuka GargNew Delhi, India250 contributionsThe temple itself has the usual appearance of any hindu temple and the waterfall is ok too. But what one would enjoy about this visit is the trek, which takes you across streams and mountains. The things to ensure are that you are physically fit (as there is quite some climb) and wearing good shoes. Use sticks to support yourself as the path is quite rocky and keep a bottle of water handy. I would suggest that people who have respiratory illnesses or are senior citizens, be extra careful.Written 25 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Pankaj ToppoGurugram (Gurgaon), India56 contributionsThere was a time when this shop was not there in Kausani, i am speaking of 1999. There was no such shop in Kausani back then. If i remember correctly the first time I saw their first outlet was during my visit to the place in 2003. This is the outlet which is on the road to Garur. However, what surprised me pleasantly was to find their swanky new outlet in Kausani estate. Well they do sell woollen items of great quality but now they also sell tea (yes you heard it right, Kausani and Gwaldham is known for their tea plantations), honey and other related stuff. You should visit this outlet in Kausani, especially the one at Kausani estate.Written 29 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- samirganguliKolkata District, India552 contributionsThis temple is located high up in the hills on the opposite side of Baghnath Temple. One has to cross the Saryu River to the reach the temple. One can drive up straight to the door of the temple.Written 24 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- amitpandey1970Ghaziabad, India64 contributionsThe visit to the tea estate is much hyped due to the tea factory. However, the factory has been shifted some 40km away. The approach to the tea garden is a steep flight of stairs near a stinking washroom. Only worth a few pics amidst tea bushes. The view is also better from other places in Kausani.Written 1 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
