Nice beach, but very windy. Not deep see, the children would welcome it. Very good place for windsurfing and kiting. The dunas are not so big but as well nice.

Attention. If you are in the summer months of July and August to camp in the camping by the beach (the only kemp is there), it is impossible and even FORBIDEN OFFICIAL ENTRY INTO THE SEA WITH KITE WINSURFING & EQUIPMENT! ) The closest and the only normal and smart entry into the water from the camp located IS 2,300 m a way ; which was carrying 100 kg. equipment day in both directions actually unacceptable and impossible.
In short, in brief During these two months, do not go there because they are extrmly unfriendly laws for water sports enthusiasts.
200 m away from the camp even have a beach for dogs, officially at which dogs actually there on it and keep doing their urgent needs, but also from this beach you will be banished! In fact, I felt like one of the bigest criminals, because I am a windsurfer !!
After 2 days we left a place, but before thet we want to stay here at least a week!

We found this excursion on Trip Advisor and after looking at the reviews, we chose to do this trip. Ignore the very few negative ones. They are wrong. Domenico was very warm, and although we were the only English people on board he engaged with us and made us feel very welcome. I must mention lunch first. WOW. Eight dishes made up the starters including roasted peppers, artichokes, tuna salad, Salami, cheese, bread and olives. Mussels for the seafood course and pasta with squid and prawns for the main course. Itailan cakes finished the food. There was far more than enough for everyone. It was so delicious. All washed down with plenty of wine and liquers including Filoferru the local spirit . Now the scenery. Well, it is all spectacular. Clear water of every colour blue you can imagine and stunning rock formations.
We were fortunate to have two lovely ladies who could translate for us (as everyone else was Italian) and we had a really good time. So thank you to Roberto and Giselle. We set sal at 9.30 and didn't return until gone 7.00 pm so a really full day. We all loved it and had a specular time. One small word of warning if you have mobility issues to get to the top deck means going via a very narrow and high step however, there is plenty of seating on the lower deck so it shouldn't present a problem.
