This used to be a very calm and cool place few years back. However, this time the crowd was much bigger. I had gone with the idea of at least doing meditation for 20-30 minutes , however due to noise by the crowd and one more thing that many Monkeys roam around and create additional fun. It was not the case few years back. They will not take any thing else except the Prashad which you bring to offer to deity. These monkeys know each and every trick to snatch from you. It is a small trek with spirituality. As there is some what approx. 700meter of walk and requires to walk up and down on hilly area , may not be good for above 80 or for the ones having problem in Knees. Otherwise , it is a must visit place for all who go to Lansdowne or to Kotdwar. It is 1500 Years old temple for Mahadeva.

This was my second visit to this scenic cafe and I couldn't wait to show my girl's gang this gem of a place. Had a great time ...with great cold coffee, pizza, sandwich and multiple games of Sequence and Uno...
Sat here for hours , with no disturbance and had an amazing time !

This was good but if you are with kids. Without kids you will be bored. Take kids with you otherwise it's not worth it. Boating is good.

Excellent Museum depicting history of Garwal Rifles. The exhibits include Medals awarded to Jawans & Officers right from the British era to date. It solemnly reminds visitors of the Sacrifices made by Brave Garwali Warriors as also Accolades received by them in War & Peace. A must visit place for tourists.

A must visit place if you are in Lansdowne, within 2-3kms of Bhulla Lake and the Lansdowne main market. We went in July 1st week and the view from this point is amazingly beautiful. An amalgam of clouds, mist, mountains and valley makes the view breath-taking. Ideal place to click pics, visit time 30mins.

A small temple located on road from Kotdwar to lansdowne. A river stream flows below the temple. A wonderful spiritual experience. A must visit place on way to lansdowne.

A good, well maintained old Church. Peaceful place that gives you positive vibes. Given the lack of places to visit or activities to do in lansdowne, it can be visited for 10-15 minutes. Main lansdowne is a very small place- having two Churches, Bhulla Tal, Tip n Top, sunset point and a small market. Van be covered in 3-4 hours easily. No hotel there. All hotels start from a few kms. below.

Witness beautiful Shivalik ranges from the top while seeking blessings from Santoshi mata. Enough place to sit and relax for a while. Has about 40-50 stairs to climb.

A small Church. A peaceful and spiritual experience. Still well maintained. Given lack of places to visit in Lansdowne as well as lack of activities, it becomes a must visit, a good experience though.

War memorial has been beautifully maintained by Garhwal rifles. There are mementos dating back to WW ll showing the valour, grit and fighters spirit of Garhwalis.
